I had a horrible experience dealing with EXIT Reality several years ago but have been waiting for my agent at the time to leave as it was no fault of hers and she was fantastic to deal with!

When selling my home I was presented with two good unconditional offers and 1 fantastic one with condition of financing, I was told the financing condition was a sure thing as it was a nice couple with parents willing to cosign if needed. This offer was presented by another EXIT representative.

This turned out to be a complete fabrication when it was in fact a young single man with no prospects of ever getting financing. The offer presented had his parents names listed on it and not even his. Once this offer fell through, one of the other two offers, who also happened to be another EXIT reality agent who was purchasing my home and acting as his own agent, was given notice by other agents that he was the only offer and hence came back with a lowball offer.

When I asked if that meant that his security deposit he put down when making the offer was now ours since he made a bogus offer, I was told "no, that's not how it works". So apparently anyone can go around and make offers on homes with no intent on buying with zero repercussions....or EXIT kept the deposit for themselves....not quite sure which one is the case.

Had I known the truth initially, I would have DEFINITELY went with one of the original unconditional offers. Another EXIT reality agent presented the bogus offer, another EXIT reality agent purchased the home. I cannot help but feel, my best interest was not being considered but rather that of one of their own and I ended up on the losing end of the deal.

There are lots of agencies in Sarnia, I strongly recommend avoiding EXIT Reality!

We are still in shock and SO excited that we landed the home of our dreams. Jamie and I highly recommend Theresa if you are thinking of listing or buying a home.

The seller of the property we bought received a gift from their agent. I would not recommend this agent. He did not work for me but for his commission.
