Believe the bad reviews. This Enterprise branch rented me an UNSAFE and defective car. What makes this even worse is that I discovered these issues with my newborn baby in the car.

1) Headlights do not work
2) Trunk does not open on command, but flies open randomly

As this location is closed on weekends, I was instructed by Roadside Assistance to drive to Newark Airport for a replacement vehicle. This took literally HOURS, and I was ultimately downgraded to an Intermediate vehicle because of low supply.

Enterprise customer service assured me that I will be receiving a discount, and that the local branch would call me on Monday to confirm. No call arrived. I have since called this branch 3x over 3 days, each time waiting on hold for over 5 min. They will not answer their phone.

This is without a doubt the worst car rental experience I have ever had. Absolutely shocking for Enterprise.

Apparently Enterprise automatically cancels your car reservation if you have more than 1 reservation under your name. I had reserved the cars almost a month in advance and they cancelled it the morning I was supposed to pick it up without communicating with me that they would cancel my reservation. We were a group of 7 people who had to suffer because we could only pick up 1 car. Upon returning the car I reached 5 mins before branch closing time and the staff had locked the doors and left. I called enterprise customer service and they told me to drop off the keys in the key drop off box. Upon doing that after a week they charged me for an extra day when I did not even use the car for an hour extra. When I tried to communicate with the branch the staff was extremely rude and told me to not choose enterprise if I had such issues.

I’ve rented with Enterprise in the past and all other branches have been excellent. This branch manager is extremely rude and unprofessional and does not care about the customers!

If I could give 0 stars I would, during my 10 visits over the course of 2 months this location has pulled every excuse and issue imaginable. From calling me to notify me my reservation is ready to then turn up and find out it’s not for the class of car I paid extra for. Despite numerous reminders that I am pregnant, I continually was out in smoking or dirty cars. Their cars are never ready on time and that cost significant delay- topped an hour and 15 minutes in one instance because they only had 1 Manager working on site.

What did it for me was when they gave me a damaged car after half hour wait and it has service engine and tire pressure signs go off in the middle of my work commute. Absolutely no follow up from the manager, refund or courtesy to exchange vehicle.

After having to painfully rent out of this location for business purposes, I finally severed my relationship after 2 months. GO AT YOUR OWN RISK AND EXPECT TO WAIT!

I scheduled a car for pickup on August 7th at 9:30AM. I was called the night before to confirm and I told the agent that we would be there early as we have an important appointment. When we arrived at 9:10 AM the agent was with someone that had been waiting. Turned out the 2nd agent was a no show. We had a very important doctor appointment that we had to be on time for. The agent was kind and said she was sorry but had 4 people ahead of us. She was also taking a long time with the one person she was working with. We called around and walked to Avis and were quickly given a car. It added stress to a very stressful time for us. We won't be returning to Enterprise.

Does not pick you up; uses old-school bait and switch to tell you your car is not there and you can walk to Hoboken or pay a higher rate for what is in stock. My insurer booked a rental car while our vehicle was in the shop. We were not supposed to pay. Arrive at this location and got the bait and switch. Then winded up paying per day and tolls as that is how this one makes money. I will never use this location or Enterprise again.

They called me at my reservation time to tell me the car isn’t there. Show up and 20 ppl there waiting for cars. after waiting 30 minutes and no one was getting into cars i left…. Luckily i live in the area and could get to another place to meet my needs but will never rent here again. staying with Avis.

VERY DIRTY and seems like the car is never being cleaned at all. The staff did not prepare our car before our arrival and made us WAIT FOR HER TO CLEAN the vehicle and still the car is disgusting. YOU RUINED MY WEEKEND VIBE.
