If I didn’t have to put a star on this I would put NO STARS . We went with this company as a insurance recommendation biggest mistake . They showed up without tools to do jobs and uninstalled appliances and left screws laying around . I have a 4 yr old daughter and she could have stepped on the screws as luckily I spotted them being a good parent . Also there was no communication at all as they forgot to put plugs into drains and then after I had told them about it the put the plugs in and when they came back to reinstall the appliances they didn’t remove the plugs almost burning put my brand new dishwasher motor as my wife turned it on . They removed panels from my kitchen that did NOT need removing . I just wonder if any or if at all any communication was done here . On another note the friendliness of the workers was very poor they insulted both my wife and I as was just trying to pass communication on to then as clearly there was none . Just thought people should know our experience as I wouldn”t want this to happen to others .

I had a basement flood and had restoration done by Downs. They did an amazing job with cleanup, asbestos remediation, repairs and clean-up. It was a very stressful time and they did all the work efficiently and quickly and by skilled people. Having had this situation once before eight years ago, I can see the difference in quality between the previous company and Downs. We had a water leak that caused an 18 foot section of our house to rot. The team from Downs came in at very short notice, juggled their schedule to accommodate the repairs to our house and accomplished in two days what would have taken me two weeks to complete. Our experience with Downs Construction was nothing but positive . We were kept up to date on everything , also understanding it was a very busy time for the company due to the deep freeze we all went through . Had a burst pipe that that flooded my craft , which was a mess . They did a fantastic job in all repairs to the room .

Jorgia and Darryl Olsen. Would have no hesitating of recommending Downs Construction for a restoration project. It is great to cut out the middleman as they are also a contractor we had a dishwasher leak that ruined our entire main level and also the lower level and cause significant mold, our kitchen had backsplash from Italy, so that made the removal of cabinetry very detailed and complicated. The whole project was handed with professionalism and we would like to acknowledge both Shawn, the main contractor and Sarah who handled the claim.
