Great experience with Darrell and the team at Deltar Construction. We embarked on a major main floor renovation and the team at Deltar delivered a high quality product, on time and on budget.

The project scope included the entire main floor of our home, including the removal of load bearing walls. Deltar provided a detailed project schedule up front, and I was impressed with their ability to stick to it. Each of the trades (plumbing, electrical, tile, etc) were friendly and trustworthy. When minor issues came up, because they inevitably will with any major renovation, they were handled professionally and fairly.

I appreciated Darrell's change order updates that made it clear how decisions we were making were impacting the overall budget, ensuring there were no last minute surprises.

We're so happy with the end result. Would use Deltar again and would recommend.

We contracted Deltar Construction to complete a partial upgrade to our ensuite bathroom. From our first interaction with Darrell and Tara, we felt completely at ease. They understood our vision completely and worked with us through the completion of the project. Every person that worked on the bathroom proved not only to be wonderful at their trade, but they were friendly, respectful and communicated their schedules and requirements clearly. We have a busy household, with 2 dogs and moving schedules, and the addition of people working in the home, never felt like a burden, which is actually quite incredible. I think the photos speak for themselves. We are thrilled with the end product, and would absolutely work with Deltar in the future! 10/10 would recommend.

From our quote through to project completion, Darrell was consistently professional, easy to communicate with and always eager to complete the job with the highest standard of quality. This is also to be said about the different trades that Darrell had involved - Plumbing, Electric, Tile, Paint, etc. We are so happy with how our bathroom space turned out and Darrell made sure it stayed within our budget. If you are trying to decide between Deltar and any other Construction company... call Darrell! You will not be disappointed! We can't wait to have them back to do more projects!!

I have experience with many contractors. Deltar completed our large renovation project on time and to a high standard, and they also undertook unexpected extra work (at no extra charge) when our hidden site conditions were worse than expected. Darrell at Deltar is notable for excellent record-keeping. We did have a couple of extras, but there were no disputes because we always knew exactly what we were getting and what it would cost. If I had a similar project, I would call Darrell again and even wait until he was available. Highly recommended.

Deltar Construction is a company that can handle anything - and do it well. They completely transformed our dark ill functioning 100-year-old home into a comfortable and elegant space that we truly love.

After hiring them to renovate our very scary attic we were so impressed that we continued on to hire them to reno our kitchen, bathroom, basement and build an awesome second story deck.

Deltar removed load bearing walls to install an open concept kitchen, built a two-piece washroom that incorporated an old brick wall and antique door, added built-in custom closets and a beautiful walk-out deck that we constantly receive compliments on. In the attic they reframed the ceiling to minimize the multiple angles, added insulation, affordable a/c and heating, great lighting, and built a beautiful powder room. It increased the usable square footage of our home dramatically.

It was important to us that the character of our century home remained intact while it was modernized for functionality and we were impressed by the company’s ability to handle everything from rough construction to custom finishing.

The company’s owner, Darrell, is extremely knowledgeable, trustworthy and easy to work with. And Issac, a carpenter talented beyond his years, has the ability to incorporate tailored solutions that suit both old and new spaces. All the trades that came in and out of our house were respectful and conscientious.

We are so happy with our renovation and will be sure to use Deltar for any future projects.

What an amazing experience I had with Deltar Construction who I hired to turn a vaulted ceiling into an extra room.

This meant pretty much taking apart the whole living room, building a floor where there wasn't one, moving a window, not to mention the electric and HVAC and so much more.

They were quick and super clean. I had a friend come by to see how things were looking that was in construction and he couldn't believe how clean the work was - both the actual work and how they left things at the end of the day. Everything was done with such care and no corners were skipped.

Shout out to Mike their construction manager who made sure to go above and beyond and always made sure that I was happy and made sure to get my input along the way.

If I could rate them 10 out of 5 I would. What a great job and I'd recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat.
