Danar did an excellent job repairing the stonework on our front steps. Their experienced mason meticulously lifted and repaired all the loose stones. Jason was very helpful in satisfying my concerns over the scope of the work and sourced and located hard to find replacement stones that had been damaged beyond repair. Their mason then acid washed and sealed the stone to protect it. Their finished work looked better than when the stairs were new. I would highly recommend Danar to anyone looking to construct, or repair existing stone work.

Daren and his team at Danar Construction are true artisans at stone work. He replaced our aging concrete steps and put in stone steps with an aluminum rail that looks fabulous. His rates are competitive and his crew are real craftsmen and treated us and our property with the utmost respect.

Daren has a very good eye for aesthetics and is honest. When I had miscalculated the balance owing and was going to send him an overpayment, Daren pointed out that the balance had already been fully paid.

All in all, it's easy to see why he's been so successful. He is heartily recommended.

Excellent work

The dilapidated unilock steps and walkway to our raised bungalow badly needed replacement. After some searching for a contractor, we decided on Danar Ltd and never regretted this.
Daren discussed with us various options and all the details of the project.
Soon his team started the construction. Both steps and walkway were based on very solid, reinforced concrete base and refaced with beautiful hard stone. Sturdy, aluminum railing were also added. All the work was done with an astonishing speed, precision, and attention to details.
The steps are wide and of very low height, as we wanted and now enjoy using.
At our request a few additional jobs have been done by Danar at our home:
replacement of the cement cap of chimney;
caulking to front doors and to both sides of the chimney;
stucco resurface to foundation wall of the house and sides of the porch.
The different jobs were done by different people of the company, each one of them friendly, professional and a real expert in his trade. We admire the results of their work.
It was a real pleasure to do business with Daren.
When in future we need any construction at our home we know who to call.

Two years later I decided to fix my driveway and again asked Daren for help. He not just replaced asphalt but redesigned the whole approach to the garage: concrete slab was put at the entrance and interlock stone in front and perimeters of driveway; kerbs were replaced with retaining wall; very solid and long catch basin placed in font of the garage. Not only quality but the look of the driveway is immensely improved (see new photos).

Danar completed a porch renovation with natural Indiana Limestone for us 3 years ago and based on their professionalism and the quality of workmanship on that project we did not hesitate to use Danar again for a significant outdoor improvement project that included driveway, patio, retaining wall, drainage and fencing renovations.

We called Danar to upgrade our concrete portico and front steps with flagstone and it was an incredibly positive experience. My wife & I were so glad that Daren approached us to offer some repairs to our front porch (especially the steps) which were already falling apart & posed as a safety hazard. We never regretted it as it was money well spent for repairs instead of money going to either hospital bills or lawyers due to potential accidents of the crumbling steps.

Several contractors have approached me before but Daren made me feel at ease with his explanations on how the work would be done, what kind of equipment and materials would they use, when they would start, what kind of quality would we expect, how much would it cost & how long (the better term is how "fast") would it take them to finish the work including the clean up, and they absolutely delivered in every single point! After seeing everything done/completed even earlier than scheduled (which is a record in my experience dealing with some contractors), this necessary expense was all worth it!

Alex & Stefan were superb professional craftsmen as the both of them were already equivalent to 4 men and Daren made sure to supervise the work daily with no fail. Sorry, I didn't get the name of the other guy who came on the last day to finish up. We would've had more work done with other parts of our property if it were not for our limited budget & the uncertainty of the COVID issue but would definitely have them over again once we have the budget for it.

I would definitely recommend DANAR Ltd. for all your stonework as we are very pleased with what they did to our porch. Very professional attitude, craftsmanship & very trustworthy. Thanks Daren, Alex & Stefan (and the other guy on the last day - you know who you are). Hope to have the same people work on our property again in the future.
