When we took over Kensington’s Plaza Theatre in 2020, we had big dreams, a small budget, and no idea how to square the two. As Calgary’s oldest single-screen cinema, we also had no idea what ‘surprises’ the building might have in store for us once our planned renovation works began.

Looking back, the decision to work with Create proved truly defining. They were extraordinarily professional and talented, but also entrepreneurial and adaptive. They understood both our ambitions and our limitations, and were constantly working to find creative solutions to keep us within budget (which they achieved), while ensuring that the ultimate vision we were aspiring towards – a unique space that would transport Calgarians to another world – was never compromised. Most importantly, they were all just good, decent people. Getting to partner with high-integrity folks, who are also hard working and fun, helped ensure that the relaunch of The Plaza Theatre was a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience for us. We could not have done it without them – and, most likely, Calgary would not still have a Plaza Theatre to enjoy without them either. If we could give more than five stars we would: Create, we really cannot thank you enough!

Relocating? New business? Expanding? It all screams stress and endless decisions, but not when you work with Create! I have worked with Create for years but not as a customer. I was so impressed with the firsthand experience! I've seen them persevere through some challenging times with grace, determination, strategy and success. I had contracted Create CM so far to build two class A Self-Storage facilities and a "state of the art" car wash for Storewest Development Group. All three projects were completed on time and on budget in a very transparent manner. These guys are experienced professionals and incredible communicators. We are now using them again to build us another car wash in Calgary and three more in Edmonton as well as a few more self- storage projects in the pipeline. Would highly recommend this group for projects large or small!
