Truly one of the most unpleasant experiences I have ever had in a customer service setting. My husband purchased a used vehicle in the area and we travelled to Claresholm to pick it up, just needing a transit permit to get it home. We walked into this registry and were not even greeted by the younger woman seated at the desk. She was the only one present. We had some simple questions for her, but we were met with inaccurate information, scoffs, eye rolling and disgusting attitude. She went as far as ARGUING with us about needing an out of province inspection for one of our other vehicles that was less than 4 years old, which was confirmed for us by 2 separate registries before coming here. Judging by previous reviews, this has been a confusing point for staff in this office in the past.
We left to take care of some other matters and returned later that afternoon. My husband was helped by a different woman as well as this original one. He said he had a fantastic experience with her, as she made his entire visit quick and easy. For that reason alone, I’m giving a 2 star rating instead of 1. Thank you to this other, more pleasant lady for making our lives a bit easier!

The absolute most unfriendly, rudest staff you could possibly encounter within Alberta registries. If you want something done with good service and common decency, don’t bother going here!

melissa woods who work in the front seems not happy at her work or maybe she doesn’t like her job. i know she’s been for awhile but this is not the first time she assisted me. she was rude while asking some question the way she starred at me she give me a look: first, being front person. show to your customer that you are ready to assist them and smile. i ask her i came back there because their internet was slow yesterday but she answered me “so what do you need”. I’m also a sales associate, being sales front you have to be respectful like what you have in your sticker to your glass there saying “you don’t tolerate that kind of verbal behaviour” hope she will change that attitude toward to her future customers. her actions reflects to the company she work with. be nice and respectful to everyone, doesn’t matter you work there longer doesn’t mean you have to be rude to your customers or maybe she have preference.

I found the staff very helpful and kind. If someone has a problem with the ladies there, maybe it was just an off day. I have always found that kindness gets kindness back.

I have been going to this location for over five years now since we moved to Claresholm. The staff is ALWAYS friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. I have witnessed issues with other people that, in my opinion, already came in expecting to have problems and if you're not willing to listen clearly to the instructions or provide a complete version of what they were attempting to do you may have issues like you probably would anywhere. The staff I have dealt with have asked clarification questions to ensure we were both talking about the same thing and my situations have gone smooth and quick. Remember, they are trying to help you and no matter where else you've been, no matter what others have told you, no matter what the staff is like at other locations, if either you or the staff is under a different impression as to what you require things will not go smoothly. Be patient, explain as best as you can as to what you need to do and LISTEN to what is being advised. If you go in with an open mind and no judgment and are willing to communicate and listen you will have a good experience with the staff. This usually will work anywhere no matter if its a registry or a 711. Be polite, smile and do your best! Everything will work out!

After reading the reviews I seriously considered going elsewhere, but as I was already in Claresholm to do some shopping I thought I'd poke my head in and see. I was pleasantly surprised as both Melissa and Cheyenne were courteous, made things simple and gave me great service with plenty of smiles. I would recommend you give them a try and see for yourself.

Great service people are friendly and prompt about getting things done for you. We've been dealing with Kyra for over a year now very friendly and is willing to go above and beyond to make you happy.
