CJs Landscapes recently installed a paver walkway, removed and replaced the topsoil and sod and planted some shrubs and spread decorative rocks along the front of our house. It was a fantastic transformation. Jared and his crew were great from design to completion. Very hard working and meticulous in everything they did. Clean up done every day was superb. I had a driveway paved and my front lawn completely removed, sprinklers redone, and new grass installed. I found working with Jared at CJ's Landscapes very easy. He replied to me quickly, produced a quote with exactly what I wanted after our conversation and I found the pricing very economical. The company was on time with their estimates of when the work would be done. I was amazed at how fast they worked and how thorough and professional the workers were that did the job of installing stones (stone border, small decorative stones, and boulders) and trees/plants in our landscaping. I also got a new automated sprinkler system for the grass and garden beds. They were also very meticulous with the sprinkler placement and alignment. Jared was very good to explain to me how the system worked, how to realign the sprinklers if ever needed. The grass and plants are flourishing wonderfully and I couldn't be happier with the service and whole experience. Highly recommend their services!

I can't say enough about how pleased we are with the work done by Jared and his crew from CJs Landscaping on our yard.

When we bought our home, we inherited a perennial garden in the front yard that had seen better days, and a back yard that really needed work. We puttered along on our own for a few years, but finally decided that we needed to do a complete overhaul.

Although we sought out various quotes and advice, CJ's was far and away our first choice for many reasons. First of all, top of the agenda was what we wanted to achieve. Although Jared gave excellent advice from planning through completion, he also listened very carefully to what we wanted, and did not try to talk us into anything that didn't suit us or our yard, as was the case with some of the others.

We started talking with Jared last summer, and over the winter, revised our plans a few times as we figured out particular details. Jared was always patient, attentive and engaged thoughtfully with our questions and plans. Throughout the project, we met regularly, tweaking ideas and attending to details.

One of the many aspects of the project that we really appreciated is that we are big into reusing and recycling materials. Not only did Jared save all of the patio blocks, bricks and large prairie rocks that came with our property, he reused every one artfully, so there was no waste, whatsoever.

The results are beautiful! We have a front yard that is graced by a unique and beautiful rock garden, in our opinion, the loveliest on the street, gorgeous asymmetrical brick work hardscaping from front to back, a beautiful round stone patio, lovely landscaping throughout, including new dwarf lilacs to replace the old full-size ones, planted when the house was built and no longer blooming.

The neighbours are all stopping by and admiring the work, and we'd brag, except it really is all due to Jared and his crew. The bill came in exactly according to the estimate. It's been a great investment in the value of our home, and brings us joy at the end of every work day when we come home and on weekends, when people stop by to visit and admire.

Our neighbours were especially grateful for how thoughtful the crew were while doing the work, including extending sod to their walkway on the boulevard, because we had the grass replaced there too. We got great advice on the bushes we planted, on the cedar mulch for the segments with PVC edging. We couldn't be happier, and we would recommend CJ's to anyone creating or restoring hardscaping and landscaping in their yard. Excellent value, pleasant workers, thoughtful care for existing trees, shrubs and perennials, outstanding results!
