Chris Franklin Signature Homes did an amazing job designing and building our custom home. We had never built a house before and we’re unsure of where to start. We had an idea of the layout we wanted but that was it. We called Chris and he was able to meet with us within a couple of days. Chris designed a custom floor plan right in front of us which was amazing to watch. Chris and Chantal’s experience become very apparent as the building process evolved. Chris even helped us navigate some of the banking and legal processes which, when you don’t know what steps to take next, came in really handy. Throughout the weeks the house was being built, different contractors were on site as you would expect but what I couldn’t get over was how organized everything was. There were very few delays between the different trades showing up and things progressed very quickly. You could tell the contractors and Chris work together frequently and that there is a high level of respect between them. Chris also goes beyond standard building code in many areas to make sure that the homes he puts his sign in front of are built right and will stand the test of time. In the end, we are extremely happy with our new home. The attention to detail, workmanship, and overall quality of our new home is second to none. There are other nice looking houses in our neighborhood but because of the products and methods used to build our home, we can be sure that our basement will never leak, our shingles will never blow off, and when the wind blows really hard at night, you can’t even hear it.

My wife and I first met Chris at the 2017 Moncton Home Show. We were impressed with his knowledge and innovative ideas on how to build an energy-efficient home. At the time, we assumed all home builders were the same; they use the same materials and build quality would be about the same. Fast forward to January 2020, we decided to obtain pricing and plans to build our first house. We got pricing from a few contractors, including Chris. However, we ultimately went with a cheaper contractor.

Then, in the summer of 2022, we sold the house and were committed to working with Chris on a second energy-efficient home. Chris was pivotal in helping us select the ideal piece of property to purchase. He provided excellent insight into the location, land, and house positioning.

Throughout the build process in the summer/fall of 2023, Chris and this team provided the highest customer service. They answered all our questions, visited the job site frequently to ensure the best build quality, and immediately addressed all issues. We can tell you the quality of the materials and workmanship from the tradespeople are top-notch.

Chris and Chantal (designer coordinator) were always patient, professional, enthusiastic, and encouraging. Chantal is a perfect complement to Chris and ensured that we were educated on all the options available for every aspect of the home design. After the detailed design consultation meeting, she kept track of our choices, met with suppliers, researched options, provided weekly updates on the home build, and kept in constant communication with us about design ideas.

We are confident that we will enjoy living in this home for many years to come. We have great peace of mind knowing that our home was built beyond ‘to code’, and we are proud to be a Chris Franklin Signature Home client.
