Joel saved my day today. I was stressed out! My toilet was plugged and we only have one toilet in the house of 7 children and two adults. Thank you very much Joel. Really appreciated.Not to forget, Joel explained what my opinions were very clearly which made it easier for me to pick what works best for me. Charlton & Hill Services is the best of best. All the staffs are great and very professional and friendly.

Cannot thank Stephen and Austin enough for all the hard work they did for me replacing my water heater, it was not an easy job for them. You could not ask for two nicer guys and really hard workers. They went over and above. Would highly recommend them
I would also like to thank Keevin who cleaned and put in a new blower motor on my furnace as well.

The part that was needed for the repairs was in his van so the job was completed quickly. Provided a very reasonable quote for another job I inquired about. Booked that one too. Called Charlton and Hill after looking at reviews of local companies online. Note one important item, they responded to all the negative review with some clarification, taking responsibility and asking for continued communication to resolve any issues. I like that approach, as no company is great for everyone.

I called and this morning (a Friday) needed a basic furnace service and check up. Got two follow up calls and the second was to see if I wanted my appointment moved to today rather than Monday, yes please, lol.

Barry arrived 15 minutes later and we went to the mechanical room, we chatted as Barry worked and I explained my knowledge or maybe limited knowledge of what was needed. Barry listened to my part of the conversation and paid close attention to how I like my home systems to work and be maintained. He did his service work while noting other things I mentioned in general conversation.

He spoke to me with respect and noted the things I mentioned. He offered quotes on the mechanical things I asked and call the office on the others so I would have an opportunity to get some things I want reviewed.

No pressure to do an extra work and very up front about any fees for further reviews of plumbing and electrical.

My home systems entitlement and OCD were in a good place with Barry, lol.

Great job, would recommend 100% - don’t be scared to questions your service companies and let them know what you know, that sure worked with Barry - great experience!

Excellent response, prompt, professional and knowledgeable. C & H replaced both my water heaters and also did a re-pipe of entire home to remove my poly B (Joel identified Poly B issue - two other local firms missed it when quoting hot water heater) replaced with pex piping.Excellent communication by Joel, Heather & Riley throughout the process, listened to my input and involved me as homeowner in how the repair would proceed, planned for contingencies, identified problems and shared potential solutions, no surprises with billing. A significant expense but absolutely AWESOME service. Have never used Carlton & Hill at my previous property but VERY impressed with this experience & they will now be my go-to plumbing/heating/electrical service going forward.

We had a furnace inspection done that led to needing a new furnace. We went into the inspection expecting this outcome as our unit was over 50 years old and was having issues. While there, they also looked over our hot water tank and A/C unit to make sure there weren't any other issues.

The furnace inspection also came with a complimentary electrical inspection which gave us some peace of mind as we had just purchased our home the year prior.

The whole process was very easy and completed in a timely manner. From arranging the appointments, to quoting, and then the installation- everyone was very friendly and professional. Those who came to our home offered practical advice and were happy to answer our questions. They had suggested some additional services for us to consider, but were never pushy.

I would be happy to work with them again in the future.
