I grew up in the area, now work in AB. I was visiting the family when my rear tires decided to come apart, CARS was booked out longer than I was on the coast for but they fit me in and got me sorted out quickly, so I am able to make the drive back home.
Paul was great at communicating. And a big thanks to Scott and Chantel for squeezing me in.

Side note. Don't ever buy cooper tires.

Took my tesla model 3 to get an alignment from them. They got me in the same day because of a cancelation and did not hesitate to work on my vehicle after 4 other shops declined or were hesitant and they did not charge a "Tesla tax" As a automotive tech myself, I felt confident in their ability and the shop was clean and tidy, which I value too. They did a perfect job and two of the technicians have model 3's of there own! Staff was very friendly and I am very satisfied with the overall experience. Highly recommended!

I have a 2005 Pontiac and things are old, needing repairs. It’s hard at times to find parts for an old girl, but Paul worked hard to find them. Now she’s running like a champ AND my backup lights work again. The mechanics are smart knowing where to look for the problem. Very impressive. Friendly and kind too!

Update (May 2025):

Scott contacted me directly after reading my comment and reviewing my documents shortly after and took full responsibility for the issues I experienced. I was surprised and appreciative of his professionalism—he offered a sincere apology and committed to recovering some of the unexpected charges on my final bill. He was respectful and understanding throughout our conversation, and I value his willingness to make things right.

I initially left a one-star review a few weeks ago, but I’m updating it now in recognition of Scott’s accountability, respectful approach, and professionalism.

Original Review (Summary):

I initially chose this business based on strong reviews and was reassured that there would be no additional charges. However, after being redirected from their Sechelt location to Pender Harbour—making three separate trips from Gibsons and missing work in the process—the final bill came to more than double the original estimate.

Throughout the process, I was not informed of additional costs, nor was there a clear explanation for the price increase. I had been told I wouldn’t be charged extra due to the delays and the loaner vehicle I was provided for a day. Unfortunately, those assurances were not reflected in the final invoice, which came as a surprise.

That said, I do appreciate the recent follow-up and Scott’s efforts to address the situation. This experience was frustrating, but I respect that he ultimately took accountability.
