Our experience with Caraco was great—probably one of the best we've had among the big builders in Toronto, Ottawa, and Kingston. From start to finish, the process was smooth and professional.

A big shout-out to Maria, who leads the Design Center. Her customer-centric attitude truly stood out. She consistently went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met, and her expertise in design was evident throughout. Maria’s attention to detail and deep knowledge helped us make confident decisions, and she made the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free.

INFESTATION at THE OVERLOOK APARTMENT BUILDING...
Last April 2023, I found Pharaoh Ants in my apartment at the Overlook. Trevor Farrar the Residential Property Manager had the exterminators here 4 times. The exterminators didn't use the black traps for pharoah ants, they used the wrong bait and then they stopped baiting the ants after 4 treatments. This apartment building will be overrun by the pharoah ants.
It's September 2024, the pharoah ants are just as much of a problem in the apartment building as they were last year.
DO NOT MOVE INTO THE OVERLOOK...

1)Small and very tight garage
2) fridge space was very small
3/ the previous property I bought 12 years ago had plumbing to connect to the fridge that can help make ice and get water directly from the fridge.
3) the stairs connecting to the wall split due to poor caulking just in 6 months.
4) poor response and don’t care attitude when I requested for dimensions of the home they built to get permit from the city..
Overall, compromised quality to save money in many things which are basics to be called modern.

The building I live in was previously owned by CJM Property Management. Since it changed hands to CaraCo, there's been a noticeable drop in service and ethics. Overall, it appears there's a complete lack of care for the residents in the building. This has nothing to do with the building managers/supers, as they have not changed and have always gone above and beyond. Also, why are you cutting established, healthy trees down around your buildings?

Disappointed is an understatement. They did not do or try to give what they promised on upgrades we paid for. Excuse after excuse in so many e-mails and person to person meetings. Our Opinion, Both Caraco and Tarion did not come through for us.
Its been a horrible experience to say the least.

We bought the Caraco model home in 2007 in Cobblestone Ridge. Last year we had to replace the roof shingles. Come to fine out that the roof vents were only plastic decorations as no holes were ever cut into the plywood. Explains why the roof tiles overheated and baked in such a short time. Very dissatisfied to say the least!
