Kathie was a dream to work with! My husband and I just bought our first home and she was the perfect person to do this with. Right away, we were able to tell how much effort and passion Kathie puts into her work. She truly cares about her clients and goes above and beyond for them! She took the time to get to know us and what we were looking for. From describing the different neighbourhoods in Canmore to giving recommendations for lawyers, mortgage brokers, and service providers, Kathie had so much insight to offer. Due to COVID-19, we bought our first home fully remote! Kathie took us on video tours and even walked around the neighbourhood a bit so we could get a feel of what it was like. Kathie made my first home purchase a seamless experience. She's friendly, attentive and professional, and she won't rest until she's found you something that suits your needs. She was always on hand to answer my questions and had endless patience for me while I was learning the ropes of buying a new home, and she would actively check in with me to make sure that the process was going smoothly. In a crazy market, Kathie was willing to take time out of her schedule even on weekends to prepare offers and ensure they were submitted in enough time to be considered. Kathie was an absolute joy to work with! She helped us buy the perfect condo for us in Canmore and was always incredibly responsive, flexible and professional. She went out of her way to address any issue that came up along the way, provided us with all the relevant information we needed to make decisions, and put us in contact with several reputable local contacts to handle our various needs — from financing to accounting to property management and renovation companies. She has deep knowledge of the Canmore market and appears to have an almost endless network of contacts. She was always extremely quick at responding to our many emails, calls or text messages, and made herself available many times in the evening and on weekends — sometimes in very short notice. She always seemed to genuinely care and want to help. The condo market was absolutely CRAZY when we started looking and she tiredlessly searched for just the perfect property for us, even after several of our initial offers fell through due to the very competitive nature of the market at the time. We would without hesitation recommend Kathie as a realtor for the Canmore market and would hire her again if we decide to buy another property in the coming years. Only positive things to say! She even offered us a lovely gift from a local artist as a congratulations and thank you gift upon closing, which illustrates how much care and attention she devotes to her work and making sure her clients have as positive an experience as they can.
