They have put away their entire boat/marine department so they could put up Christmas decorations to sell in October… I’m not coming to Canadian tire for Christmas decorations… no one is. Put the boating section back please!

I enjoy going here way more than before because the lines used to take forever! Every time I'm in there now, I can almost always get help. Kudos to this store! I went in during a power failure recently. Instead of closing its doors and turning people away, they stayed open. I had a personal escort through the dark store who helped me get what I needed while taking codes down. There was an old school credit card machine, too! They took my number in case of any mistakes. It all took a lot of time, effort, and patience I'm sure! Every time a customer came in, someone was at the door waiting to help! I have never been more impressed by a retail store! The team seems to work really well together. Thanks for everything CT Fenelon Falls!

Dan at the automotive department was very helpful helping me get the brake parts for my vehicle. They only had one item that I needed in stock, so he made sure to order the rest of the items i needed he then called to let know everything was in. Many people working for companies don't go above and beyond and Dan did.

CTC Fenlon is the example of how not to run a store. Today, I had two return items from another CTC location. They were being returned because the order was not right. At Fenlon, I lined up at the returns counter and waited with maybe 5 other customers. When I got to the counter they reviewed my receipt and told me I had to do the return at the auto counter. At the auto counter, after a wait for a couple more customers to clear but I get a new clerk who informed she was not trained yet on returns. OK, I understand, but she did try to help, but we both ended up waiting until the other counter person was freed-up. He ask the reason for the return, and simply circled and initialed the receipt, and, wait for it, sent me back to the first returns counter, the one I had started at. This time I only had to wait for 2 customers to clear until I was serviced. But no, not that simple. First the clerk was confused as to why I was back. Second, she could not seem to find one of the items and thus ensued a check of three credit cards, twice. Finally another staff member steps, starts the process again, and with some confusion over something about the auto desk, the return was completed. I would like to say to took an hour, but no, maybe a good 40 min.
