Overpriced for poor work before taking the job came in for measurements then quoted what the price was then quoted dates for when he could begin then got the wrong colour mulch bricks and then said oh we have this I said we wanted those colours that's what agreed on and he's like oh that will be $2000 extra if you want that when it was agreed on now it's even cracking all over then he didn't even put sod down where he was digging threw a bunch of grass seeds and said it will grow in it did not not even worth the hassle I went to home depot and paid for the sod needed to make my backyard green again. Get everything in writing because alot of what he's quoted he will just throw charges that are really high for poor quality product he even put down material where he said nothing will grow through it and I have weeds, grass and aspens are growing through it 2 weeks later. Just poor quality everything he really cut corners and did a really cheap looking job I even asked the wood pieces that he put down if they can stain them his response thats not my job anyone knows when you put any type of wood down outside it needs to be stained to avoid rotting I would not recommend him to anyone. Maybe if you want someone's job to look really cheap and get charged an insane amount, he'd be perfect for it.

Of course, you will say that you probably don't keep records of people you overcharge and give BS quotes, too.

We had a challenging sidewalk and patio project and were considering doing some of it ourselves. Then Brian was referred to me and he gave us a fair estimate for doing the work. As it turns out it was a very challenging job wrt drainage/slope/water issues. We are SO HAPPY that Brian and his crew did the job properly and made solid recommendations about how the drainage needed to be remediated. It is built to last and stand the test of time. The shady patio is becoming our favourite part of the yard.
