One of the nicest wedding venues I've attended. Did was good, seemed very organized. Lots of things to do so you're not just standing around waiting. Staff was friendly. The only issue was having to go outside to another building to use the washroom which is fine if it's not raining.

My wife and I had an extremely disappointing experience with Upcountryvenues. Our special day was marred by a series of significant issues that should never have occurred.

First and foremost, they ran out of alcohol at the open bar, which was incredibly embarrassing for us and frustrating for our guests. It's inexcusable for a wedding venue to mismanage such a basic aspect of their service especially when we are paying such a significant amount of money.

The problems didn't stop there. The food was also served in miserably small portions. Many of our guests left hungry and dissatisfied. We had expected the food to be a highlight, but it turned out to be a major disappointment.

What was particularly frustrating was their last-minute demand to increase our food amounts just one week before the wedding, despite having discussed this during our tasting. This lack of consistency and communication was infuriating.

The venue also held onto our damage deposit without justification. We were left in the dark about why they were withholding our money for 4 weeks until they finally told us we have “misunderstood the contract” that clearly states we were entitled to our DEPOSIT. We were also assured by many individuals when signing the contract, that this would be released back to us, unless major damages had occurred which they did not.

To make matters worse, it seemed like there was a revolving door of staff members at the venue, which led to confusion and miscommunication. Nobody seemed to take ownership of our concerns, and there was a complete lack of acknowledgment or effort to make things right and our contract was over looked time and time again. They continued to try charging us more based on their current contract and no honouring the contract we signed one year ago.

Our wedding day should have been a joyous occasion, but thanks to this venue, it was filled with disappointment, embarrassment, and stress. I would strongly advise against booking any event here, as our experience was nothing short of a nightmare.

I was a vendor at the Braestone Market and absolutely loved it. Pleasant, professional and friendly staff and stunningly beautiful views in all directions would make this an ideal venue for any event. I especially loved that my booth was right next to Dino the horse's paddock and I got to give him some love too. 😃

I loved this location and market! Gorgeously manicured lawns and stunning natural views. The market itself was fantastic! There were so many different vendors, and the lunch was amazing!

We just parked our car and went for a walk. We saw lots of home owners and their dogs. maybe more dogs here then people which is lovely. Overall the owners shared the following positives:
- The neighbours are lovely
- The options in the design centre were diverse
- The farm concept is exciting and the connection with community is a great positive.
- many of the trades were very personable (flooring and painting was mentioned)
Mixed reviews:
-quality of products used ... some of the cabinetry was mentioned for example.
-timing, delays in occupancy was more common in the beginning one person shared but they seem to be on track now.
- unknown with the common elements condo fees and structure.
Negative reviews:
- warranty work was not of a high standard and usually required multiple follow ups to actually get done
- turnover in trades was evident with some homes being higher quality then others
-everything had to be put in writing or it wouldn't hold any value , multiple people mention verbal promises that were not delivered
- despite the price the owners shared the standards were more aligned with the Tarion minimum vs a higher estate home standard.

Went to a Christmas market here and it was very nice. They had multiple vendors in a couple of locations around the property and it was great to walk and enjoy the snowy winter weather. They plowed all the paths and the parking lot as well.

I've been living in Braestone almost 2 years now. Reading the negative reviews has prompted me to say my peace. From my first visit to Braestone up until right now, I can say that I have experienced nothing but top notch service from the sales team, the builder and the after care team. Received my keys on time, the house was exactly what we expected, any issues have been dealt with swiftly and on an incredibly professional level (thank you Kellie). We find the workmanship excellent, the level of some of the standard features a definite cut above "average", the neighbours we have met fantastic. Reading the negative reviews I sense a lot of hate and that's sad as this is a fantastic place to live! There are not many places around where you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning looking out over the valley enjoying the quietness and NOT hearing any noise pollution, check out the night sky on a clear night in the summer- STUNNING! I would highly recommend Braestone to anyone who asks me.
