This has to be one of the worst engineers I have ever worked with. I don’t know how he has a 4.9-star rating.
Let me start. I was introduced to him by a contractor with no experience.
He came to the site, I told him what I wanted, and he submitted everything. A permit was given by the city, so we began work. We finished the job only to find out that the engineer completely did not understand what we wanted.
I told him I wanted enclosed drawings with windows. He did not include them in his original permit. He did fewer drawings and less detailed plans. Two years later, the city came for an inspection, pulled up the permit that he drew, and said I made the structure completely wrong. Can you imagine the nightmare that I went through because of this, with little help from him? I even called and asked if he could help; all he did was send me an email of the same permit.
I had to spend over $25,000 on a rebuild and a new permit from a new engineer.
I have all the receipts as proof of how this company completely screwed me.
Never use them or recommend them to anyone.
Now that I have finally completed professionally my job and the city passed it, I can write this review.
