Big Springs Plumbing and Heat is an honest and professional company with a knowledgeable team. I had an issue with my hot water heater, and they fixed it quickly and within budget. Their receptionist was very polite, and everyone I dealt with was great—plus, they got me into their schedule surprisingly fast.

After dealing with other plumbing and heating companies that were overpriced and not always honest, it was a relief to work with a company that truly cares about its customers. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing and heating services!

We have reached out to Big Hill Springs a couple times and they have actually talked me out of hiring them before because I was going to spend money on something they knew I didn't actually need in my house.

Having had that level on honesty from them in the past, I happily hired them last winter to install a new tankless combination hot water heater and boiler. They had the most reasonable quote and - knowing that our old hot water tank was no longer working - they rushed the job for our family.

I wanted to see how the new boiler/heater holds up before posting a review, and nine months later we are still loving it!

There were a couple small hiccups right after it was installed, but they came back right away each time to make the adjustments that were needed to get it right.

Considering they told me up front that installing these is usually a two-day job but then sent a larger crew to get our young family hot water again in just one day, I didn't mind them needing to come back later for some small tweaks at all! They worked their butts off for us and we were so grateful!

This is our go-to company for plumbing in Airdrie and I would highly recommend them.

I reached out to this company to fix our furnace that failed on us. I received same day service by Matt, the technician who showed up. Matt was extremely calm, humble, honest, transparent, intelligent and professional to say the least. As soon as Matt arrived at our residence, he took ownership of the situation and went above and beyond to do what was needed to be done to fix our furnace to get it back up and running seamlessly. I genuinely appreciate this business for having such technicians on their team. Prior to reaching out to this company, I reached out to 3 others and those companies did not care, made me feel like my life was at their mercy and complete dishonest as they saw it as an opportunity to earn monies due to the nature of circumstances and disrespectful
as they created unnecessary panics. With this company, it was the complete opposite. Thank you.

Great service, I was quoted from a different contractor for a double water heater change out at double the price Big Spring did it for. It was quick and painless, Steve and Dave were super professional, friendly and made everything easy as it should be. Cleaned up everything and left the place better than it was before.
The other contractor barely took the time to look at the system told me I had to change both tanks and it was the easiest way to do it.
Matt came to the house and was able to figure out a better set up with a bigger tank and save me a bunch of money and space in the mechanical room.
Highly recommend Big Spring and they will definitely be my first call next time.

I called several plumbing companies when I noticed a wet spot of the ceiling of my kitchen. One company quoted me close to $300 just to have the issue assessed. Big Spring Plumbing had friendly staff who were able to set me up with an appointment and Greg came out and fixed the problem, for less then others quoted me. Greg was professional and honest about the issue. I appreciated his expertise and can sleep easy knowing the problem is fixed. I highly recommend this business.

Last Friday, I encountered a leaking water tank issue and called Big Springs. Greg arrived promptly and assisted me in contacting the water tank company for warranty support. After some back and forth, he replaced the tank for my family—all in the same day.

As a McKee homeowner they have an untraditional way of doing an installation for a water line from the quick trench. They decided to add a coupler just after the garage wall in the basement underneath the footing in the basement. Because of that it leaked at The brass fitting that the added at the clean out for the 4-inch sewer where the water and 4-inch sat.. This company was fantastic! Call the night before they came first thing in the morning. They turned off the water "via contacting city of Airdrie", then proceeded to remove concrete to properly access the brass fitting for the water and fix the line that was leaking. He then placed it back in the box then put the gravel back in and mixed and poured the concrete fixing almost as it was before the work was done. Our plumber was named Mason, his work spoke for itself! I would highly suggest asking for him. He was very professional and did the work fast and efficiently. When it was all set and done the bill was very reasonable and the work was well done. Also to mention they do warranty on the work that they do, which is fantastic! It shows you the type of company they are And how they stand by their work! I highly suggest using this company.

When I discovered my dryer vent was broken somewhere in the roof of my basement Big Springs was able to squeeze me in and Mike was exceptional came up with a solution that saved me from having to rip out my finished roof and saved me money by relocating my dryer vent to a much smarter location. He was very respectful and professional and the job cost a lot less than I was expecting. Now I can do laundry again without fearing a fire risk!! I will definitely be calling Big Springs for all of my heating and plumbing needs in the future!
