We ordered a 10 X 20 pressure treated dock from Big Daddy's Docks in mid-April to replace our current 8 X 20 and connect to our existing shore ramp. Steve was prompt with all communication from quote to order confirmation to delivery. He actually delivered ahead of schedule. The quality and workmanship of the dock exceeded our expectations and Steve made the entire purchasing experience pleasurable. We will use Big Daddy's Docks for any future dock requirements and highly recommend them for your docking solutions.

Our experience with Big Daddy's Docks was great right from the start because of Steven's excellent communication skills. Steven sets clear expectations of when he'll be able to get back to you with a thorough response, which isn't something we've found with many contractors up in cottage country.

The team who came to deliver and install were very friendly and were sure to teach us everything we need to know to install, remove and store for the winter, and maintain the wood. It left us feeling like the 2 of us could do this ourselves every season.

The dock is exactly what we wanted and the price was very reasonable. We'll definitely recommend Big Daddy's Docks to others on the lake and I'm positive we'll be calling them again when we wish to extend the dock out another 8ft in another couple of years.

Our resort had significant damage done to our concrete docks over the years by ice and varying water levels. We finally had to make the decision to put a dock over the concrete. We asked a number of companies for a quote but Steve from Big Daddy's Docks was the only company that came to the resort, jumped in the water, measured and gave us a workable dock solution. He promised a certain day for installation and completed the project as stated. Our new beautiful dock was in place for the July 1st long weekend - busy time at the resort.
I highly recommend Steve and Big Daddy's Docks. He was a pleasure to work with, reliable and we are very happy with the dock installed.

We went with Big Daddy Docks cause we like the owner and front man Steve. He was patient with us and came out to our property and made sure his suggestions were spot on. His installers showed up on time and were friendly. After they were done we noticed that not all the pipes on the dock were flush , as we requested. They said it was too much of a bother to fix them now and they would fix them in the fall when they took out the dock for us. This wasn't the answer we wanted but where ok with waiting. After they left we noticed that the river muck from their shoes left stains on the dock and how one section was 1/2 inch higher then the next causing us to trip when leaving the dock. We told Steve this when he called to ask how it all went (a really great customer service strategy....but had no follow up) Steve said that wast right and he would make sure all items were taken care of. No one showed up. After time the muck stains lessened. The first day we used the dock (swimming) we found out that the ladder they installed wasn't reinforced and it pulled off a dock board. We again talked with Steve. He was apologetic and sent someone right away to fix it, we again mentioned the pipes needing to be flush (60% of them are flush with the dock wood the rest stick up higher then the dock wood) and the tripping hazard. Turns out they forgot to put in a few bolts onto hold the ladder. We came up again to find the ladder properly reinforced, the pipes still sticking up and the tripping hazard still there. We called again. He was going to pop by on an agreed upon day we where up , he didn't ,he called my cell instead of the cottage number and left a message saying he wanted a time. Popping by and calling before you come are two different plans. I called again and set up another day and we agreed again he would just stop by.....he didn't show....its been a week and a half now.. I'm at the point now that this review is the only way to get things done. Make sure they do it right the first time or else they are just too buys for the details. Steve I'm busy too. Balls in your court. You know how to reach us.
