We moved into our home two winters ago and noticed that our heat pumps kept freezing over outside. We called BG and they came out and cleaned our unit and advised the problem should be fixed! The following winter we had the same issue. Last spring one of our units was stuck in defrost mode any time we put on heat. We called BG again and they insisted it was because it needed cleaning again, so again, we had them come out, clean it, and do a free diagnostic assessment. We were told it was an issue with an internal sensor and the part would be ordered for replacement. I then received a voicemail telling me they now suggest to replace my entire heat pump. My husband called and he was told “google the problem” and if he could find a replacement part, BG could replace it. We called another company for quotes. They instantly knew what was wrong with our unit once they took the time to listen to what we had to say! We had our external sensors changed and hot air blowing within a week.

If you want a cleaning done, give BG a call! However, if you want anything else done for your heat pumps, don’t bother! Really felt like they didn’t listen to our problems and they did a lot of guesswork to the issues at hand when they came out. Customer service was very poor, they made the process more stressful than it needed to be!

Technician was prompt arriving at our residence. He was very quick and thorough in his servicing of our two units and was well equipped. He was very friendly and answered any questions I had regarding our air conditioner. He was very quick and had our air conditioners serviced quickly and was gone in no time. Highly recommended.

Today's technician was a bit late due to an appointment but when I called to check the receptionist was very apologetic and sweet explaining and then the technician pulled into my driveway , again apologized and then swiftly got to work. She did an amazing job, explained everything that she found, educated me on cleaning some of the filters that I was unaware I was able to clean myself, was very friendly and patient with my children when they asked her questions about what she was doing. She made sure to clean up after herself and I would 100% recommend her for future jobs.
