We stayed in cottage 6 for one night, it's a short drive to Main Street and the beach.
Our cottage was bigger than we anticipated and had a full fridge and kitchen area, a two-piece bathroom, kitchen table, queen bed, and pull-out couch. It has lots of windows, and the AC cooled the space nicely.
Our cottage came with a picnic table and umbrella and two muskoka chairs, which were excellent for lounging around the fire. The owners supply lots of firewood.
We were greeted by Mike, who gave us some information on where to find anything needed and how to access the pool. He was very helpful.
In the marina, about a 2 minute walk from the cottage, there is a cafe that serves coffee, sandwiches, ice cream, drinks, etc., the ladies here were great.
This place is a great value and we would definitely recommend to people staying in the area.

We stay here every year with our kids and love it. It is very peaceful and the location is great! The cabins have what we need, and are clean. We love that we can use the marina pool, its awesome! The beach is a 15-20 minute walk, so better if you have a wagon to pull your things. We bring our dog, which is nice that the cottages are pet friendly. A great spot for a great price!

My husband, 12 year old daughter and I stayed in a two bedroom with our dog in August 2017. It was very clean and seemed freshly painted. Like others said it's nothing fancy but has everything you need. We walked or took our seado to the beach most days. It is a bit longer of a walk then I would like, especially carrying all the beach stuff. But they do have an outdoor pool you can use which is much closer, and never seemed busy. Overall I would recommend staying here if you don't need the granite countertops and stainless steel dishwasher. I think it would be fun to get a few families to rent at the same time, you can BBQ together, play lawn games, and ride your bike into town to get ice cream.

My husband, 6 month old puppy and I visited this little cottage colony in July 2016. I happened upon their website when looking for a reasonably priced cottage near Goderich that charged daily rates not just weekly. Cottages are small but very functional. We had a two person cottage. It had a fridge with a freezer, stove and a toilet and sink. Showers are in a separate building just steps away. 2 bbqs with propane are also available for use. Beside the cottages there is a marina where you can use the pool and tennis courts. We loved staying here for the weekend and hope to one back next year. 15 minute walk to a really nice private beach. We really liked that we could bring our dog with us too. Highly recommend staying here. There is a fire pit for everyone to use but because of the fire ban in the area we didn't get a chance to use it.

Very disappointed with cabin we stayed in..at first glance it looked good, when I looked closely it was definitely not clean. I spent my valuable break from caring for my 101 yrs old mum cleaning the cabin. The kitchen area the washroom wiping all the surfaces that supposedly was cleaned before we arrived. The Marina is lovely as are the grounds and I wish that my experience with the cabin had been a good one.

For the past 3 years i have been spending my vacation time here as part of a family get away with a family that has been vacationing here for many many years. I have read that people complain there is no tv or showers in the cottages,that is the best part of the experience. No tv means you can go out and enjoy the outdoors. The sunsets are amazing, the beach is only minutes away and the village is just a short drive down the road. There is showers on site right next to the fire pit. Its peaceful and quiet and really enjoyable time can be had by all. There is a pool and BBQ's to use as well. Its rustic and the people are nice that run the area. I look forward to going each year and for many years to come.

We just spent three nights staying here and we really enjoyed our stay. It is definitely 'no frills' but the cottages are very clean as well as the grounds. There are no showers in the cottages- there is a shower cottage with 3 showers that you have access too- all were very clean and although it would have been nice to have one in the cottage, it was not that hard to deal with. It was very quiet at night and nice to be close to the marina to watch the baots coming in. It was an added bonus that we had access to the marina pool which was very nice- we practically had it all to ourselves when we used it. Would be nice to have at least two campfire pits- there is one and we found it very packed at night and didnt have much room to fit our chairs near the fire. Beach is a few minutes away - the walk across the bridge feels very unsafe as there is no sidewalk... the beach is rocky but it was nice that it was not busy so we still enjoyed ourselves.

Absolutely love and will stay again, quiet spot close to everything- pool, restaurant, beach, pier. Mike part of the “welcoming committee” is happy to show you everything you need and very helpful. We love the lawn games and the shared bbqs. A great spot to spend a relaxing few days away from home. Can’t wait until next summer👍🏼
