Craig and his team carried out an extensive renovation of our house over a period of several months. In the process they lifted sections of our home, enlarged the living space, updated electrical and plumbing systems, and built a large beautiful and very original cedar deck that is the showpiece of our property. During the course of the renovation we found Craig to be professional, responsive, and highly skilled. His easygoing demeanor makes him an upbeat presence in what can be a challenging time for homeowners - he is flexible and knowledgeable, and we had full confidence in his abilities both as a general contractor and an experienced craftsman. "Craig has done several projects for us over the years. He built us a custom workshop/garage to house a large vintage car collection; and later replaced all of our decks. Craig is methodical and takes great pride in his workmanship - always making sure things are done right and that everything fits and looks as it should. The workshop is a wonderfully solid and attractive addition to our acreage. Barnes Custom Homes has done exceptional work for us over the years at our home. They completed our bonus room making it an additional bedroom complete with a new window and ensuite.
