Worked with Bachly on an insurance claim which required several different trades to complete. Bachly gave me a complete schedule for the repairs and if schedule changes were require contacted me to make sure those changes were okay.
The contractors Bachly used were great, they moved all the furniture off the main floor into the garage and packaged all of it in cardboard or plastic wrap. Took tons of pictures and made sure everything was documented and put everything back the way it was. The flooring guys completed the work (tear down and install) in two days. There were a few spots that weren't up to our liking and the contractor came back and fixed it all up for us, no problem.

My partner and I are facing one of the most difficult times in our lives after losing our home and almost all of our possessions to wildfire in Jasper. Gord and Steve from the Calgary team helped us immensely with recovering some of our salvageable items, and they did so with incredible care, thoughtfulness, and professionalism. They were thorough and more than willing to help us however they could, and I don't know how I can thank them enough.

Had a fire, insurance company hired bachly Construction. After a year came back to house.....can't close sink drain in bathroom (shoved against wall) and no more medicine cabinet. Paint all over windows, door handles and bathroom sink. Heat vents are all falling out and wall cracking. Laundry room door fell off when I opened it. So much disaster. Top it off , I was given a box with other people's stuff in it. Terrible job. Insurance company should go after them for the disaster they made

I’ll start off by saying, I didn’t have a choice in companies to use, as this was an insurance claim. But if I had a choice I would not use this company ever again. I had water damage, and they were great at first, came out immediately and dried everything out quick. But doing the rebuild was a nightmare. It was supposed to be done in a week, and it’s over a month past that and still not done. It was very localized damage. This all happened through covid, so I made it clear that the amount of visits was a concern, and asked that all the deficiencies created during their work would be fixed in one day, this is a month later and about 10 extra visits.
There were things I mentioned to them at least 6 times and they were never completed. Their “finished” product was awful quality and paid no attention to detail. Thet left multiple dents in my wall that they didn’t fix, they left cracks in my wall thet didn’t fix (even after asking 6 times), they broke parts of my vanity, they reapplied corner baseboards on straight walls-leaving gaps that they clearly hoped I didn’t notice.
To leave my house in this condition was shocking. But to get them to fix it was even more shocking. I’ve been promised for the last month “it will just be one more visit”, and it’s been multiple more visits. The list of deficiencies was long, but only a couple were done at a time, and when I asked when the rest will be done, they replied that everything was done, what was missing? And it was constantly half the list. It has now been a month, and I was promised this was the last visit. The last concern was the gaps in the base boards, which I addressed two weeks ago. They came in and did not have baseboards, and seemed surprised they needed them. This was a week ago now and I’ve tried to contact them multiple times to see when things would be done- it’s nice to know when someone is going to walk into your house. I’ve had no replies. I was told three weeks ago I was on a priority list now, that clearly isn’t the case.

The communication in this company is almost as poor as their work quality. There were two days they didn’t even show up as planned. They moved all my belongings in my kitchen and living room, including my stove, (making it unliveable), 5 days before they needed to. They messed up the days the floors would be done, it was planned for a Thursday and Friday when I was at work, but they did it on the Saturday and Sunday and Sunday instead. I was unable to be in my house and during covid restrictions this was difficult as I had no where to go, luckily my insurance company was great. I would never use this company again. I don’t trust their work, and their organization is just as poor.

I have given them dozens of opportunities to fix their work, and do a decent job, but they have no been able to, so I would recommend finding another company. I will attach a few (of many) photos of their FINISHED work.

Was cut off by an employee driving one of there SUV's today, He saw me coming and cut right in front of me, causing me to slam on my brakes, I honked and he rotated his hand to his head to say I was crazy, then processed to wave at me in a mocking way, when we passed each other. Driving a company vehicle and blatantly cutting people off is not a good representation for your company.

Bachly Construction was outstanding during the insurance repairs at our Families home in Calgary. Not only did they take care of every tiny detail but they were flexible when our plans changed last minute and we had to reschedule. Whole heartedly recommended!

Bachly Construction was recommended by my insurance company to evaluate and repair some recent storm damage to my house. I was contacted by Bachly within a day of filing the initial claim and that high level of responsiveness marked every interaction with Bachly. I was kept informed of the work being done and always given sufficient advance notice of any requirement to access my home. The office staff and the construction staff were always friendly, helpful and professional. The work was done on time and to a high standard. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bachly for construction or repair work!
