Archway Construction Company is currently working on a radiator replacement project at the Roundhouse Co-op building. Despite this being a multi-million-dollar project, their conduct on-site has been extremely unprofessional.

For days, groups of workers wander around the building talking among themselves, sometimes even arguing around. Very few of them even greet the tenants. They fail to meet deadlines, and their communication is rude and dismissive. Many come across as arrogant and uninterested in maintaining good relations with residents.

The owner of the company is particularly disappointing—his behaviour is shockingly impolite and unprofessional. I have lived in my apartment for 21 years, paying rent on time and contributing financially to building maintenance projects, including this one. In other words, part of my money helps pay for his work. Yet, without any shame, he told me that this is not my apartment and even said I have bad karma—simply because I questioned yet another extension of the construction deadline.

For a company that has been paid millions of dollars, they arrived unprepared and disorganized. Instead of apologizing to residents and showing appreciation for our patience, the owner walks around the building acting like a sheriff, responding to reasonable concerns from tenants with hostility and disrespect.

It’s an absolute disgrace. There are many private companies that value and respect their clients—I cannot understand why anyone would give their money to people who treat paying residents in such a demeaning way. Once again, I must emphasize: this company is a complete embarrassment.

Horrible experience overall. The company showed extremely poor craftsmanship, with multiple unfinished or unsafe features left behind. The workers were aggressive and disrespectful, and on more than one occasion, I felt intimidated in my own home. Communication with tenants was dismissive and at times hostile. I do not feel safe or respected when this crew is on site. I would absolutely not recommend this company for residential work — especially around vulnerable populations.

Too bad there is no option of zero (0) stars.
They start working and then they work for a couple of hours instead of full day.
When you complain their excuse is that because of Trump tariffs they couldn't get parts in time from the US. Why did you start working at all without a sufficient amount of parts?
Workers are nice and polite, but the company owner was quite rude and blamed us for being disrespectful.
Do not hire them!!!!
