The safety advisor Matt came to give me large first aid kit for free and then provided me with fire safety info I didn’t even know about!! He was very kind and spoke professionally. He was positive and made a first meeting with a stranger feel like I was talking to a long time friend. I was able to see the fire sensors they sell as well at the company and are definitely worth investing in, especially for pet parents like me who cannot be home all day. I recommend to everyone!!!!

What a complete sham. Called and said I won a prize at the Paris Butter tart Festival, then "required" my spouse to be at the home with me for a scheduled appointment to go through the "prize" package. They called and left a message requesting we call back to confirm the appointment. We called back and confirmed. Then they didn't show up. When they finally called back, they tried to blame us for not confirming the appointment. Said they didn't like my "tone" when I told them they cost us money by taking time off of work for a confirmed appointment then not showing up. I offered to come pick the prize up and they go into pressure sales tactics to try and rebook the appointment so the can give us "safety information" in order to receive the prize. BS scam, sham, and false pretenses. If this is how they treat their potential customers, they are the last people on earth I would want to take safety info from or invest in product with.

Yes you called at 12:01 pm to confirm the appointment.
I returned the call at 12:30 pm and left a message confirming. I called again at 2:15 and 2:45 and left additional messages asking if you were coming.
Your rep called me at 3:04 pm advising that I left messages on the wrong line which only she has access to and she didn't start work until 3:00pm. It was the only number that I had for the company.

At no time did I become irate with the marketing team. Yes I was annoyed that you wasted both my spouse and my time which cost us money, but I was no where near irate. They transfered me to you when when I said this sounds like a scammy captive audience marketing sales pitch and questioned why you could not just drop it off, the need for my spouse to be there, or not being able to pick up the prize at your office.

You are more than welcome to make arrangements to drop off my "prize" or have me come pick it up.

My safety advisor Matthew came by my home after I filled out a ballot at a local fair. Interesting booth and a lovely gentleman. Very professional and polite. Was great with the dog misty too. I was introduced to Apex Health and Safety at a local Applefest and was told I won a safety kit. I was very impressed with their rep Matthew when he came to my home today. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about his work. After discussions of the optimal protection I would need, I feel confident in the decision I made that was affordable for me and also the suggestions Matthew made for me down the road. The reason I gave Matt from apex a 5 star rating. He was kind,patient and even put humour in it. He also showed videos and discussed it in detail. Matt was the best sales marketer I heard in along time. Even though I wasn't able to purchase the package because of affordability. I was able to purchase the fire extinguisher, which was affordable and an attainable. We always wanted one but never got around to it. Thanks Matt for your excellent service.

I was excited to receive a call informing me that I had won a first aid kit raffle I entered at the Tiny Home Show. They told me they could not just drop it off and that part of the raffle included an in-home safety inspection and training. They asked if I was the only adult in the home. I said no, that I owned the house with my husband, and they said he should be there too. After the call, I told my husband, and he said he was not interested and the timing did not work for him. Honestly, that was fine with me because I did not mind doing the inspection on my own.

We set a date, and I even left work early to accommodate this “inspection.” About 10 minutes after they were supposed to arrive, I got a call saying they were not coming. I was annoyed but let it go, and we rescheduled for today.

Today, I again left work early to make sure I was home. Then they called to confirm that both my husband and I would be there when they arrived. I explained that my husband was not interested in participating, so it would just be me. They told me, “Oh, then this will not work.” I said I was willing to do the inspection, and she insisted that he needed to be there. I asked, since I won the raffle, should I not be able to do it myself? She said no, that they needed all the adults in the house present. For an “inspection”? Why?

When I asked why I could not do the inspection alone, they said, “Because he would need to know the information in case you forgot.” (I was not sure what that was supposed to mean.) I asked what would happen if I lived alone, and the girl replied, “But you do not live alone.” At that point, I hung up. She was not concerned with getting me my raffle item or with having me participate in the safety portion of the raffle I won. She only seemed concerned that my husband was present. In my opinion, having one person participate was better than none, but this company did not seem to agree.

It was very strange, and honestly, it felt like an absolute scam. After this experience, I do not trust this company.

Got the free first aid kit from taking the very quick quiz. Then was visited by a lovely representative named krista. She showed ups fire safety tips and videos, explained about the different smoke, heat and Co2 detectors. She wasn't pushy and let us figure out what we could expect. She was at our house almost 3 hours and let us ask a million questions and do math. To see if when she offered the product of the fire safety system she was patient and kind.

Mac came the same day, chill guy, very friendly and helped put up our system and explained the app and helped with the fire extinguisher that we got as a bonus.

The product is a base flat rate depending on package you get, the rate is a few thousand dollars. Though in a world where emergencies can happen within minutes it was a fair price. We got four doctors and 2 water sensors and a bedside management system with a mattress vibration to alert us.

Though they have flexible buy in plans and pretty decent interest rates and depending on your downpayment you can have flexible monthly fees.

The app is pretty easy to use and you can sign in and use it without making an account so that's convenient.

Overall the experience was pleasant and informative without being pushy and overall they seem like they would of just kept it at the first aid kit and the safety demo and not over complicate things if you can't afford even their cheapest monthly plan. So glad that they seem to prioritize safety of profits.

The detection system didn't need to be screwed into the walls so it's renter friendly and can be taken with you and reset if you move.
