We worked with Anthill to transform our "two-bedroom junior" condo (with rooms separate by glass sliding doors and wardrobes) into a proper two-bedroom. We knew we either needed to renovate or move so that we would have a space more functional for our baby and to be able to work-from-home when necessary. Andy and Dane guided us through the initial planning and design of the space - taking the time to get to know us and our lifestyle. We have have a 630sqft space so they helped us to maximize every inch creatively. The strata and city approval process took time, but they were there to support us throughout the process.

The build itself went relatively smoothly, but even if we did come up against something unexpected, the team communicated with us clearly and were able to keep us on track for our estimated completion date (I actually believe we were in 1 day early). We were amazed by the professionalism of every person who worked on the project, and their passion and expertise at what they do. The custom millwork that was installed in both bedrooms and a custom design for a floating keyboard are gorgeous, high-quality, and installed perfectly. We are so thankful to everyone who worked on the project, and amazed at the final result.

Thought-filled and strategic designs, beautiful millwork, and responsive service!!

We hired Anthill, on the recommendation of my partner who had previously worked with the studio, to complete a multi-functional second bedroom redesign in our condo. The scope included incorporating their unique Nexus built-in furniture, the moving/realigning of walls and doors for a more seamless transition from the main space, as well as an attention to transitional hardware too.

The planning of the project began in early 2020, before the COVID-19 pandemic, and despite all (unforeseeable) procurement and supply chain challenges, Anthill finished on time (in July 2020) and on budget. They were incredible to work with; truly pleasant to have in our space (since, by mid-way, it was 'lockdown' and we were working from home) but also, importantly, communicative and considerate of our needs, wants, and expectations.

We love/have loved the outcome: it's functional, aesthetic, and saves space!!!
