Nous avons passé deux magnifiques semaines de ski. L'endroit est idéal, car il est situé tout près de ma montagne préférée (Kicking Horse), mais aussi a distance raisonnable de Lake Louise et Revelstoke. Le spa est vraiment apprécié et la vue magnifique. Les chambres sont bien aménagé et propre. J'ai déjà hâte d'y retourner l'année prochaine.

Chalets et lodges chaleureux à quelques minutes de Kicking Horse. L'endroit est propre, bien aménagé et offre une ambiance conviviale. Richard, notre hôte exceptionnel, est aussi un véritable passionné de ski. Il nous a fait découvrir les meilleurs spots à Kicking. Une expérience inoubliable que n'oublierons pas de si tôt!

We had a great stay in the dome. Enough room for four adults. Weather was cloudy and rainy, but still offered great views from the front window. Recommend bringing takeout for food (good restaurants in town) as there isn't much for a kitchen, as expected. If you're looking for unique accommodations, the Dome is a great option!

Comment for the hosts, I recommend a different locking mechanism for the door as we accidentally locked ourselves out during a rainfall!

My teenage daughter and I spent a night in cabin 7 for a little girls getaway. My daughter was DELIGHTED with the quaintness of the cabin and loved her little loft bed. The cabin is small, but full of charm with wood walls, a small shower, and a kitchenette. We had a cozy time watching a movie in bed and listening to the rain.

Some feedback points:
-The cabin does not have AC and is right off the highway. Sleeping with the windows open in the summer is very loud, but sleeping with them closed is too hot. A small $250 window AC unit would make a world of difference in the cabin in terms of comfort.

-A mirror above the kitchen table would give people a place to do their hair, as there is no outlet in the bathroom

-A doily under the TV would keep the TV from vibrating. We used a towel and it was totally fine (and having access to our Netflix account was wonderful). But a doily would keep with the ambiance and could be purchased at the antique shop in town very easily.

We stayed here hoping for a peaceful experience but were disappointed. The cabin freezing cold when we entered and promised amenities like BBQ was in unclean and poor condition. Coffee grounds were missing, and we received checkout instructions after leaving. The bathroom was leaking, and we had to use our own towels to keep it safe for elders. Despite this, the host initially messaged us saying he’d give a 5-star review for how we left the place — only to turn around and post false, defamatory claims later. Completely misleading and unprofessional. Not recommended.

Stayed in Chalet no 5. Perfect feel and very comfortable. Well equiped with all of what we needed. Bed is comfortable. Size is perfect for 2 adults alone or with young kids. The view of the balcony is direct over the valley and kicking horse and it is superb. Alpenrose is Austria feels in Golden ! Golden village is nice true place with a nice walk aside the river. the owner was very helpful when required. Privacy was perfect. The value was spot on, our stay was great.

Our stay at Richard’s cabin was a disappointing and frustrating experience. First, the cabin was freezing cold upon arrival, making it incredibly uncomfortable for our family—including elderly parents. Basic essentials were poorly managed: the BBQ grill was dirty and unusable, the induction stove was faulty, there were no coffee grounds provided, and worst of all, the bathroom was leaking with no bath mats, forcing us to use linens to dry the floor to prevent slips.

Despite these issues, I chose not to escalate because Richard messaged us after checkout saying he appreciated how we left the place and that he gave us a 5-star review. Based on his message, we submitted a positive review out of courtesy. To our shock, we later discovered he had posted a completely false and vindictive review, calling us “the worst guests,” accusing us of messaging past midnight (which never happened) and bringing more guests than reported—an outright lie, as we were only 4 adults and 1 child, as booked.

This level of manipulation and dishonesty is unacceptable from a host. Highly disappointing and unprofessional.
