Alliance concrete did retaining wall at my place for me and my neighbour. Hired by my neighbour in 2017. Issues started during construction when they told me I did not need to waterproof before the wall was constructed… and bigger issues to appear in 2018… one year after… had a hard time getting John to come and see problems… one being the walkway and wall moving away from house and concrete cracking… once he comes, tells me it is normal will move but come back in its place… well never did… cracks, separation got bigger and bigger… 2024-25 winter season was so bad the shift was even worse that foundation started cracking… had to call engineer who reported on the wall being badly constructed… reached out again to alliance concrete and John who refused to respond. I am not finished with them but, Do yourself a favour, don’t use them… find another company!

Called for an estimate for a driveway widening and repaving. Although the appointment was easy to book and their rep came out on time and was very friendly, I never received the estimate and could not book the job. I tried calling and emailing several times but never received a reply. They wasted my time and don't have the common curtesy to call back. Says a lot about this business- I get that they're probably busy but if you can't handle replying to estimates, how can you be trusted to do the actual job?

Would not recommend this company to anyone. I asked to have exposed concrete and a new city curb poured. They poured the driveway right to the road and neglected the curb. Now when it rains the runoff goes into my driveway. Worst off they exposed the city curb and tried to fix it with a small skim coat that started to peal a few months later. Called and emailed them many times to fix the curb but all the owner does is ignore you and refuses to take your phone call. Emails stating they would come out and fix it and they did not show up once.

Other flaws are they poured the driveway with two different colours of concrete so you can see the colour transition between one pour and the other. When pressuring washing and spraying the driveway they blew all their material in my garage which I had to clean up. Also they butchered the overhang on one of my steps to the front door.

They were also three weeks late on their timeline to start pouring. I cant stress enough not to use this company.

Called for an appointment they booked it i left work 3 hours early to meet them, they never showed up, no call, no txt. We called back they were very apologetic said they would call next day. NOTHING guess they don't need work, dont bother to call me back I wouldn't hire you now .
