I have been working with Taraneh’s firm for the past 2 years on a complex historical building restoration / design project, downtown Montreal (Plateau Mont-Royal). The building, an historical architectural landmark on the Plateau, previously owned by one of the mayor of the city in the early 1900’s and was closely monitored by the city for any alterations and modifications that will alter the historical elements of the building.

She has been a key contributor to the quality of the final result. Not only she was able to navigate the complexity of the rules and regulations of the Plateau Mont-Royal, she was able to inspire new ideas and key design alternatives within those constraints and parameters that led to a more modern, open, industrial design that we were looking for while preserving the historical quality of the building.
