Absolute atrocious experience, I bought when they first started building The Meadows neighborhood and regretted every day owning it. The planning of the neighborhood is awful, all the houses mirror each other and you have windows directly looking into your neighbors house which are 6 feet away. It's pure laziness on the developers, and it also makes for terrible sound proofing.

The lack of customer care after purchase is also awful, their representative is hostile and unwilling to help. I called to have them fix exterior grading issues which had water running to the foundations and they made empty promises of sending a team to fix it.

The neighborhood is also becoming a rental neighborhood, the lack of ownership is very apparent. Maple City Homes has a home owner covenant that forbids the properties to be rented, but seemingly it's not enforced whatsoever.

Overall my opinion is that regardless of how well they build houses, they fail as a local business to serve the Chatham community. There are a lot of good workers who work for Maple City Homes, but the owners of the business need to clean up their reputation. I ended up selling and moving out of the neighborhood after 2 years because I have no confidence that it will remain a good long term neighborhood.

I purchased a home in Daylight Point. Right from the start Carson was an amazing person to deal with. When I compared Daylight point semi at 329900 vs an interior townhome unit in Windsor at 309990 Daylight had 500sf more space a double garage and higher quality finishes throughout and a larger driveway it was an easy decision. Thank you to Everyone at Maple City Homes even with the few minor issues i had they were prompt to address.

It was a tough job seeing I was given lots of work too do enough for two people and you never had time for breaks or lunch then ran you ragged and treated you poorly
It wasn't worth the $15 an hour for what they had you doing

I had to leave seeing I was worked to exhaustion and got sick and decided to find work elsewhere

Lmao ! 309000 for a semi 5000 to 6000 property taxes no decent paying jobs .. no decent public transportation .. no after school programs for kids or teens. Give us a break. No affordable housing for the working class?
