I’ve been strictly framing for close to ten years and our crew and I just installed what I would consider one of the worst roof packages I’ve ever seen. At first glance they look well made but unfortunately have absolutely zero consistency in shape. I’m not talking 1/2” differences here and there either-I’m talking 1”+ of variance at the slope to flat transition, which will lead to an extremely wavy roofline, not to mention considerable crowns in the top chords. I’ve built a many of this style of home before, without problem, so I know its not as though it’s a complicated design. Stay away!

I am amazed that, from behind your desk you could come to this conclusion, without ever stepping foot onto the site, and actually perform any sort of calculations. We have gone over this roof with both my architect and surveyor and conclude, the error was most definitely made by the Watford Roof Truss company. furthermore, you cannot just arbitrarily change the height of the fascia boards to resolve a glaring mistake made by Watford Roof Truss. this requires building department approval, as it would change the height of the roof, which requires approval from the building depart. We have made the necessary repairs and fixes, in order to have the correct side setback from an adjacent property. We are still dealing with other quality issues.

Another glaring quality issue, we are dealing with is the truss crown, which is hanging down 1.5inches. We have now had to change the complete ceiling design to accommodate a different size crown molding. We will post some photos shortly but, if you would like to see the very poor quality, reach out to us and we can arrange a site visit. I don't want this to happen to anyone else.

Quality work and very helpful. I spoke with Jeff and he took the time to dig up an 11 year old truss drawing and email a copy. Will be using them for any future projects. Great place to deal with!

Just garbage. I frame houses with several truss companies, all of which are generally bad but watford is by far the worst. I can get over a stupid roof design but the quality of the trusses is truly embarrassing, i dont think i could fit enough beers in me to produce such a terrible product. 0 stars isnt an option so 1 will have to do.

The worse truss company anyone's ever seen if u want someone to get injured on ur crew then get there trusses the dryway gable trusses literally rip apart when u lift them
