My family cottage is located in the flood plain and flooded twice since 1998. It was gradually sinking unevenly to the point where the sewer line no longer had any slope to the septic and the front door was jambed shut for years. Something had to be done. The conservation authority said it needed to be raised about a meter. Over the past 10 years I approached local contractors that could lift it but would only sit the cottage on gravel and blocks or would only supply the foundation but couldn't do the lifting. At the Ottawa spring home show I found Ultimate Foundations Repairs and learned that they could do the complete job of lifting the cottage and the installation of the screw piles beneath. Even better they could drive the piles right down to bedrock about 15 feet below the surface. Another benefit was the replacement of the existing piecemeal 6x6 timbers with steel I beams and the stiffening of the floor by the doubling of the floor joists. Once the project commenced they put in long days and completed the work in about a month. Even the difficulty of installing and removing the lifting beams on my narrow lot was overcome without damage to neighboring properties and the lifting portion of the project came in under budget. The cottage now sits level on bedrock at the required higher elevation ensuring flooding will never happen again. Thank you Rene and your team for saving my cottage and increasing its value.

We had a serious problem developing with the sun room attached to the back of our home. He told me he could solve our problem and gave us a price that seemed very fair. His team came over on a Friday and finished the job the next day. Called about a crack in my foundation, owner came over agreed on a price and said to contact him when I returned from vacation in two weeks. Emailed him many times to see if he was still interested in coming without much luck.
Called his cel phone he responded with a chuckle that he should be able to come mid next week he would let me know. Called him the Tuesday and ask him if he was still coming Wed. he said no but later this week. Did not hear back from him after that. I gave up chasing him. If you are not interested just say so don't waste people's time.
