We first found North Country Sheds on the internet. We were selling our home in Ramara, Ontario to move/downsize to the Cornwall, Ontario area.
One of our biggest challenges was finding a house with a detached garage. We found homes we liked but the garage was either non existent or in very rough shape. It was discouraging to say the least.
I reached out to David, of North Country Sheds and he took the time to explain the process involved when purchasing a prefab garage from him. He offered a great selection in the size and style we wanted. We placed our order.
The process involved in building our garage offsite (in Smith Falls) as well as arranging delivery to our home was handled with care and attention to detail.
We found a home in Cornwall and had to wait for the spring to have a contractor come and install a gravel pad for the garage.
David was with me every step of the way. He helped me with the application for our building permit. Very straight forward... the company has a set of stamped, engineered blue prints and the City of Cornwall had no issue with approving our permit.
We sent David a few photos of the house we bought. North Country Sheds will does an amazing job matching the garage purchased to the exterior of your home. David also sent videos showing the best method of pad installation as well as a video of an actual portable garage delivery. I know these videos made it simple for our contractor to provide us with a fantastic gravel pad. Delivery of our garage was handled in a timely fashion.
It's pretty amazing watching your garage coming down the street all built and ready to go. The father/son drivers that placed our garage for us were very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with.
I can't say enough about North Country Sheds. They build a high quality, attractive and very reasonably priced product.
Customer service like theirs is difficult to find these days.

I purchased a 12 x 20 garage from North Country Sheds in late July 2024 and it was delivered Sept. 23rd. George, the driver, was very experienced and placed the garage exactly where I wanted it on my gravel base. The quality of the garage is very good; they did a great job colour matching the garage siding to the siding on my house. This is my second purchase from North Country Sheds. My previous purchase was an 8 x 12 shed. I highly recommend them.

24x24 garage was a great purchase. New home for the bikes and pick up truck is exactly as I had hoped for. Very easy to work with team. Delivery driver was amazing as he was able to get the right side of the garage in place even though my property was not an easy access for him. Final assembly team did a great job putting the final touches together. Definitely would recommend purchasing any of their product

Loved my experience with North Country Sheds. Their digital tool to plan your build works perfectly and after months of fantasy shopping with it, I designed my dream garage and pulled the trigger. It came out exactly as I’d imagined it.

Staff are friendly, worked with me every step, I left my home open to them unsupervised while they built the garage on site and they were very respectful and tidy. They are detail oriented and spent a lot of time getting things just right.

Building permit process was a snap. They had all the paperwork ready to go and the city waived it through. Building inspector passed the build almost instantly.

I would offer the constructive criticism that they should offer site preparation. I did it myself based on their instructions which were clear and concise. I’d have preferred to pay to have the site prep done for simplicity. Otherwise, no issues and I’ve received lots of compliments on the build.

I’d recommend North Country Sheds to anyone looking for quality custom pre-fab work. If ever I realize my dream of owning cottage land, I’ll be calling on them to build me some bunkers.

Our new 4 seasons cabin was delivered last week and we are already super happy with our new second home. After extensive research, we contracted an NCS cabin for their maintenance free features (durable siding, metal roof and pressure treated porch), best value and outstanding online reviews. We were their first customer to ask for a cabin “fit-for” an off-grid power system that we will buy and install ourselves. David was very friendly and accommodating throughout and George did an outstanding job with the delivery, including fixing a few issues along the access trail. So we strongly recommend NCS.
