I met Scott Klippenstein when I was looking for a place to live. I was so impressed with the professionalism and sincerity he portrayed, I bought some land and asked him to build me a house. I was not disappointed, he took me through the whole process to listening to my particular preferences, while keeping me on budget and getting my house finished on time. I will always be thankful to Scott and love my house that he made possible. -Marianne

We used Alair Mill Bay to build our custom home from design to finishing. Scott was exceptional at keeping us and the project on track and on budget. I commend him for being able to work with me as I am extremely particular and knew nothing about building a home. I also threw a fair amount of change orders his way, all of which he went out of his way to accommodate . He was informative and helpful and did a great job of managing his trades. If I were to build another house, I would definitely use him again.

We bought our home from Scott 3 years ago and have been very happy with the workmanship of our home. We had a home inspection done before moving in and was told by the inspector that the home was built above normal standards. So for those who may be considering a home purchase from Scott, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

We selected Blueprint Custom Homes to build our cabin on Shawnigan Lake. The home was built on time, and most importantly on budget. When there were financial decisions that had to be made throughout the build, Scott contacted us to communicate our options.

As far as the completed product, we get a lot of compliments on the build and look of the cabin, we actually had people knock on our doors to ask for the blueprint so they could build something similar on Quadra Island!
