We have now been living in our new home since November 2024. It was built by Sol Sustainable in 6 months and completed on budget. We were most impressed with the exceptional quality of the project management, both administration and on site; the superb quality of workmanship achieving a Step 5 energy efficiency and most importantly, the quality of the people in charge, Melissa Olisin and Charlie Appleford, whose genuine friendliness, trustworthiness, patience, and understanding gave us both the assurance of the project’s success and a trouble-free experience. Failed to build to code and then skipped out on remediation, went way over budget by over 60% and never informed us of any overages till the end then demanded payment or threatened liens for non payment, they took all funds we paid and kept the money for themselves and did not pay several subcontractors and caused liens to acrue on our property. Below they claim they warned about a 15% contingency but not 60%. Absolute disaster! I can't believe this happened to us.
