We hired this company to take out some trees, replace them with a new fence and fix our old fence. From afar the fence didn't look too bad until the lattice started falling off because they didn't secure it and they left a couple tops on the posts instead of cutting them off to match the others. Then when you get up to the fence you notice they left obvious gaps in the fence at the bottom, tree stumps visible and just built the fence on top of them , gate is worse than before they fixed it. Left cigarette butts all over the lawn, left their trash. We paid him to remove the trees and take the stumps down so why it was built on them the way it was is beyond me. They say they guarantee their work but when we told him a few days after they were supposed to be done, he said he'd be over to fix it. One month and several no shows later, he offered me $400 back. He never paid it hasn't fixed anything . They won't respond anymore to any of my messages now on Facebook . Will read text and not respond. I will also point out that he only used one 2x4 on the fence instead of two and so we've just noticed that some of the boards already look like they are bowing. Also the good part of the fence faces our yard and not towards the street where people see it but maybe that's preference in some cases? Total scam. I'll post just some photos of their work. Decide for yourself. The guy also seems nice at first , but don't tell him you are unhappy with the job done because he will just say you're impatient. He's busy and has other jobs to do.

Save yourself the headache. As previous reviewers have stated, Chad, the owner of this company is totally unreliable & a complete liar. We hired them to do our entire backyard project, including fencing, stone patio & garden beds. We provided him with a several thousand dollar deposit for "materials", and they started work on our project by completing the fence work, which we then paid for in full. Over a year later, they have never returned to do any of the additional patio or garden work. The fence work they did complete is mediocre at best.

He provided every excuse under the sun as to why they couldn't come back and do the work, including lost phones, being hit by a car, dead friends & relatives, etc (you get the point). Somehow when these issues were resolved, he always managed to be working on other projects, and ours was "next on the list".

We'll be taking him to small claims court to try and recover our deposit. Don't make the same mistake we did!

Save your money, your time and your sanity. Our experience with Brilliant interlocking started fine, a sizeable four figure deposit was given in JANUARY of 2023, they came did a fence (the boards are not straight) and they built a gate (which is not level), all of which I was willing to overlook given I was 7 months pregnant and on a timeline to have our yard done for the summer. After the fence was done (and paid for in full) we followed up every week for months. May rolled around, no work started on the patio. Constant promises that the “delivery was coming” “they needed an excavator” etc, but nothing.

Name the excuse, we heard it. Weather, illness, truck issues, lost phones, injuries, too busy… etc. They even had the audacity to do a small project at our neighbours and never come back to our home.

It has been OVER ONE YEAR since signing a contract and handing over a sizeable sum of money to them and they continue to ignore our calls and texts. Our backyard is an overgrown forest and mud pit, and no work on our patio has been completed.

It takes a special kind of person to screw over a new mom. You’ll notice their facebook page no longer allows comments. Many bad comments were left (yes I have screenshots). They have also had other bad reviews on google that have magically disappeared (and yes, I have more screenshots).

I am hoping to save anyone else from this absolute disaster of an experience and financial burden. I have lost more hours of sleep than I can count (along with navigating life with a newborn) only to be lied to again and again. Find another company, so you too aren’t taken advantage of.

Had them out to replace the stone ledge under our bay window before listing our house. They had the job done in two days. They did a great job
