A few years back, Oakwood Designers & Builders turned my Carport into a Proper Garage and they had The Door Company install the garage doors and openers. After a couple of years, the weather stripping on my two garage doors was coming apart and needed to be fixed. Within 24 hours of hearing about my problem Oakwood and their sub-contractor (The Door Company) came to the rescue. They put in a better quality weather stripping and double checked tha door operation to ensure that everything was working correctly. Great people to deal with, great service and a quality product. If I could give Oakwood and The Door Company both more than 5 stars, I would. Can't say enough about how pleased I am. Great Customer Service Experience.

Oakwood completed an ensuite bathroom renovation for us in March 2018. It was a gut job which involved removing a bathtub, moving a toilet, replacing a single vanity with a double vanity and installing a larger shower. The pros to the job were working with the foreman Kevin who was conscientious and excellent at coordinating the schedule. The tiler, Carlos was also very skilled and did an great job on the tile installation. The cons were limited choice on items such as cabinets (Oakwood only deals with Cabico), sinks, etc. In addition you work with an assigned designer who makes choices that may not be the result you are looking for. For example, there is a six inch panel of glass angled in our shower that had I known about in the design phase, I would have asked for a different solution. Obviously, the measurements were incorrect. With dark green paint on the walls and white subway tiles with dark grey grout it is a busy look. The MCM style cabinets were supposed to be furniture quality but were not, in my opinion, given the cost. Oakwood did a reasonable job but the project was fairly pricey (around 70K).
