Rave for Dirt Nerd Earthworks: we had a window well outside our basement window that was threatening to let go and crash through our basement window at any time. Thanks to Evan, the Dirt Nerd and his crew who took it all apart, block by block, and rebuilt it, block by block. Having carefully taken it apart, they saved and re-used the same blocks, saving us a bundle of money. The excavator operator (Quinn) operated his machine with the precision of a surgeon. He didn't damage a single block or make a single scratch on our house.
Rob, the block guy, re-installed the blocks and did a great job. He explained to us why the wall had failed and what had been done wrong when it was initially built. Having watched the daily progress of the project, we are very impressed by the professionalism of the Dirt Nerd team, and we are very confident that this window well and pony wall will be here long after we are gone. We are completely satisfied with the price we paid for this project and the peace of mind it gives us, knowing that this time it has been done right and won't crash through our basement window.
