Don't waste your time, very bad customer service!

The guy (Dan) who is supposed to provide all the info, leaves his phone with the secretary who cannot answer anything and is only promising that he will call back (and he never does). I had to chase him for weeks and could not get from him the details that he promised to provide (i.e. updated quote, estimated start date, pricing on prefab steps, few samples of past jobs)

I am usually not picky about the customer service, but this level of neglect made me question as to how it is going to be after the installation if there are any issues. After 2 months of running after him I cancelled the order and moved on.

I contacted Berman Paving to roll my lawn. Deb was excellent and called me the day before they'd arrive. The guy arrived as expected and a great job. Would highly recommend.

Do NOT use this company! After waiting months to hear back from the original quote, they finally came and dug out the old driveway. Then we were left with a gravel driveway for another two months, when we were told two weeks to let the gravel settle. A little over a month after the asphalt was installed, we had holes in the driveway. I first made Berdan's aware of the holes in Oct 2020. It's now September of 2021 and I still don't have a date of when they're going to fix it. Clearly, there just waiting for the one-year warranty to run out so they don't have to fix it.

This is some of the worst customer service that I have ever received. We've been told at least a dozen times that someone will come out, but still nothing.

As for the quality of the driveway, I guess it's what we could expect for the price that we paid. If I had to do it again, I would go with another company, even with the price difference.

Seriously, pay the extra to go with Peter's or another company.

Brian did a great job of preparing, then coating my driveway with good quality materials. He also blocked my driveway from vehicular traffic for 24 hours. I'm a very satisfied customer.

Berdan Paving wrecked our grass with the dirty they dugout.
Directly after the job was finished I had issues. The mid of the driveway has a crack all the way down it and also a big rut. Roller marks left to right on the entire driveway They got asphalt all over the aggregate.
I called Dan the owner to discuss the issues. “I’ll just rip it out and cut my losses” that was his response. I wanted to show him other driveway that were done correct. In the hope he would do the right thing. He said he didn’t want to see them. Response: “If you wanted a job of that quality you should have used them”

Horrible experience with this company. Took months for a quote, when they finally did come they ended up ripping up old driveway when the quote was to pave on top on it. Backfilled with literal garbage, pop cans, smokes, you name it was all through the gravel. Ended up having someone else come and concrete it because Berdan's never bothered to come back. Then they decided to charge us for the work we didn't ask for.... WORST company and customer service I have ever dealt with.
