We had a massive water damage at our house last year. Team Shane took care of the repairs. From start to finish, their professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to quality were evident in every aspect of the job. Communication was seamless throughout the entire process and they kindly walked us through each step of the project.
All team members were excellent but we are specially grateful with Vanessa and Reuben. They went the extra mile for us in many ocassions.
The end result exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Team Shane to anyone looking for a construction company that delivers excellence and a truly luxurious finish.

We are still in the midst of our project with Team Shane but I felt compelled to add a very positive review. The entire team has been helpful, knowledgeable, responsive and incredibly easy to work with. From our initial enquiry, through design and planning, and now in the early stages of the work, everyone at Shane has been great! I have every reason to believe that the rest of the project will be the same. This is our first renovation and Team Shane has supported us the entire time and has made it so easy!

Shane himself came and quoted our family regarding a main floor and exterior renovation last year. After some consideration, although they had the highest prices, they also had great prior reviews and when you're spending large sums of money, I would rather have the comfort that the job will be done right. Caell assisted with the design and drawings and was extremely helpful. Eventually, we were set up with Vanessa, who helped with all the due dates and assisted with picking out the materials/deadlines for choices. This was helpful with their own custom phone app. That lays it all out (great idea). Vanessa works extremely hard and coordinates so many things (all the materials etc.) Not sure how she manages several projects at a time. She was also very flexible when needed regarding lending materials/samples. Lucas was our project manager. I have heard stories that clients never see the manager, or.maybe once or twice. Lucas was practically at the house every day that work was going on and sometimes even several times a day (even saw him with a couple tools helping out and keeping the site clean etc). He was very understanding regarding the some or our last minute changes and assisted to make that happen. I am very pleased with how down to the dollar things were. When change was needed to add or remove something, you would use the app to approve it and you can see the exact amount being added or subtracted. The employees on the site regularly, mostly Will, Zac and Tyler were always early for work, extremely friendly and the craftsmanship was very good. I was living here through the renovation and they were great at making it as easy as possible for me. The subcontractors were all the same, very very nice work and friendly crews. I couldn't have had a better experience with all of the above. Even through the pandemic, everything turned out and was only behind a couple weeks by the end (April to July, but ended in August. I would recommend Shane Renovations, especially if you're project is larger. Thanks everyone. Jeff and Carly.

We completed a major bathroom renovation for improved accessibility and function, along with some replacement of existing floors and trim to update the upstairs level of our home. The design the team developed was a little more expensive than what we'd originally planned for, but met our needs well and really improved and updated the space. We love the layout, flow and function of the new, more accessible space!
The construction team was well-managed, friendly, focused, and where issues came up (as they always do), they were resolved quickly and effectively. It was a pleasure to have them in and around the house for a couple of months, and the mess and fuss was kept to a minimum. The tradespeople contracted by Shane were excellent and we're really happy with the work they did.
The only reason we're not giving 5 stars is because the selection process (for flooring, tile, fixtures, etc.) was not quite what we expected from the contract or what we needed during the process. Most of the vendors were great, but it felt very limited in where Shane wanted us to make selections (with a fee for going with other vendors) and this is the one area where we ran into some areas of timing and support. We needed a little extra help because of life circumstances and things just didn't seem set up to meet those needs or suggest alternatives. It all turned out well in the end, but there were a few small hurdles in getting there.
Overall, we're really happy with the work and the results. Thanks to all involved!

Our experience with Team Shane was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. Everyone knows that going through a home renovation is stressful, but Team Shane guided us and supported our family through the process at every step along the way. Everyone we interacted with at Team Shane was a pleasure to work with - knowledgeable, helpful, patient, and responsive. From start to finish Team Shane was easy to deal with and our reno was the least stressful part of 2024 for us. From the moment we reached out for a quote they were quick to respond and gave us a realistic budget and were conscious of what value it would or wouldn't add to our home.
What makes Team Shane so great is their staff and contractors. We gave the architect Troye and the kitchen designers some constraints in design which they rose to the challenge and exceeded our expectations. Who knew our cozy home could feel so spacious and hold that much storage?! It was hard to choose a final design when Troye gave us a lot of great ideas. However, what made the process easy was that she listened and pivoted graciously when we changed our minds and still gave us what we wanted and more.
Having a Project Manager onsite was also invaluable. Will and the team made sure the site was organized and clean everyday. When issues arose we were informed promptly and they already had solutions ready to present to us. Never once did the timeline change. While there may have been delays in some areas, they either made up the time or pivoted and worked on another part of the house. Which resulted in us moving into our house as scheduled.
Will and Team Shane also followed up with us after the move in and checked in to make sure we were happy with everything and do any touchups that may have been required.
So if you are looking for a great design-build company that is responsive, thoughtful and has the process all laid out for you to access and delivers what they promised, then I would suggest Team Shane for your renovation.
