WOW, the amount of machines and man power Josh showed up with. I don't think there's a job too big for this man. I guess thats what happens when you re-invest fifteen years of work back into your business. CANNOT recommend this guy enough, 6/5 stars. Call him with ANY questions, he was really friendly and not pushy. Very approachable all in all and not afraid to tell you what is possible and how long it would take. Never one was I unexpectedly let down, I was ALWAYS pleasantly surprised with him. You can tell when he was a kid he was playing with the mini-ex toys in the sand!

Josh and his crew recently completed a fairly large excavation project for us, including a retaining wall, stepped gardens, stairs, and landscaping. We were very pleased with the overall results and found Josh to be extremely skilled and talented. Both Josh and his crew took great pride in their work and were genuinely concerned with the quality of the final product. Josh showed great vision and used his considerable experience to make suggestions of how to maximize the space or improve the look (ex: he suggested curving the stairs). Josh’s final bill was true to his estimate and if anything, he did more work than promised for the same price. We would not hesitate to engage Josh for future projects.

This past week we had Josh and his team from Fawcett Excavating come in to complete work around our home. I cannot say enough about them! We hadn’t planned early enough to be placed into Josh’s busy schedule; however, he found the time to squeeze us in, even if it meant working a little later in the day to complete the job. Josh and his team were extremely professional, organized and they were quick to get the job done! I have to say that I wasn’t exactly sure of what I wanted; however, Josh was able to come up with the solutions that I needed regarding landscaping, pathways etc. due to his vast experience. Josh even moved trees on our property that are now located in ideal positions to maximize the appeal of our home. These gentlemen worked hard – and, even when there was a moment or two as they waited for dump trucks to dump their load, Josh’s team could be seen pulling weeds from my garden bed and walkway! Amazing – thanks Josh and team!

I could not have been happier with Josh and his team at Fawcett Excavating. Their attention to detail really makes a difference. We had a new property that needed all aspects landscaped. Everything from the front entrance to the firepit and walkway to the water was done meticulously. Josh helped to provide great ideas how to make the place look great in cost effective ways without compromising on quality. He made the process (which could be very stressful) seamless by providing regular updates, and open to changes if needed.

I usually don’t write reviews but I feel compelled to write something about the service I just received from Fawcett Excavating.
After two years of my husband and my wedding being cancelled down south, we had planned to have a small wedding at our cottage. Although this was an exciting thing to plan, we had a lot of landscaping and other work to do around the cottage to make it look wedding ready.
After loads after loads of grass seed, tons of raking, immense watering, we ultimately decided that sodding the whole lawn was the only way we were going to have a lawn worth looking at in time for our wedding day.
This decision was made just over two weeks before our wedding date.
If it wasn’t for Josh and his crew getting their job done so incredibly fast, we would have not had grass for our wedding.
They jumped to get the job done, not only quickly but also perfectly. We did not have to sacrifice quality for time efficiency at all.
I cannot say enough good things about this team. They not only played a huge part in making our cottage look amazing, but they saved our pictures, videos, and memories of our wedding.
I would recommend going to Fawcett Excavating to anyone.
The crew of guys are so nice, great at what they do and so easy to deal with.

Josh and his team are real professionals. The work they did on our shoreline was excellent. Josh is a perfectionist and really listens to the customer.
