A friend recommended Sharp Electric,. We called and spoke with someone immediately. We needed wiring for a new submersible pump and that they could reach out to the Plumber for more info which the did. They arrived on the requested date, and the two electricians were friendly, thorough and very efficient. I highly recommend Sharp Electric.

Gerald and his team were fast first responders to our emergency during the post-storm cleanup.

He found a way to ensure we didn't spend a whole weekend without heat and water after Hydro One abruptly cut our connection to the grid on a Friday afternoon after the 2025 ice storm for non-critical storm damages.

His team arrived promptly on Monday morning for the repairs and ensured the ESA was notified immediately of completion so our reconnection occurred without further delay.

The service team was considerate of our home and discussed steps they took throughout their progress.

Sharp electric installed a new fuse panel and upgraded some outlets around the cottage and installed a new one where the coffee maker and toaster are.
Great job! Punctual, easy to communicate with and professional. He is also neat and tidy.
The panel was installed in the fall 2023. In August 2024, my brother in law noticed the outdoor GFi plug that was installed was not working. My brother in law said these plugs often do not work properly and told me to call the electrician back. Gerald came quickly, fixed it with no questions asked and no bill to pay.
Great company great electrician in my opinion! Would definitely use him again.

Highly disappointed. Sharp Electric installed our generator. Also wired our new build home. We paid a hefty bill for this service and did so immediately without quibbling. It turns out, we started experiencing problems with the generator. It would just quit working. We knew this because red light kept coming on frequently. After a couple of attendances, Mr. Sharp accused us of playing with switches, which absolutely was untrue!

Finally called someone else. Turns out generator was wired incorrectly, not only in the generator itself but also in the panel in the basement.

If you want accountability, best consider other options.

Gerald and his team not only did a great job upgrading my electrical service but have been unbelievably responsive and supportive when I called several times in a panic about problems that have been minor or turned out to be my fault! Tonight (a Saturday night) Gerald spent almost an hour on the phone with me troubleshooting a persistent beeping that seemed to be coming from my newly installed thermostat. And wow. I am so embarrassed ..we finally determined it was coming from an expired CO2 alarm that I had put in the garbage (below the thermostat). Anyhow, many thanks to Gerald for helping me through this!! Having an electrician that does a great job is awesome but having one that is so responsive when I call in a panic is priceless. Thank you Gerald and Sharp Electric. ❤️❤️

Polite, Fast and Effective

Sharp Electric came highly recommended by a family member in a time of need. We are first time home owners and have learned a lot in the last 24 hours after purchasing a middle aged home. We had an electrical fire in our fuse panel. I called Sharp after hours expecting and hoping for a voicemail because I did not want to wake anyone up, but a human did answer. As promised the crew showed up by 9 AM the next morning and by 4 we had our charred fuse panel switched to a breaker panel. They put up with my dogs incessant barking without complaint. I am so grateful for their hard work!!!! Thank you so much for making this terrifying experience easier.
