We had an incredible experience working with Frontier Homes. As first time home owners, purchasing a home was extremely daunting. Frontier Homes did an incredible job making the process easy to understand and were extremely informative. From the start to finish of purchasing the build, they were efficient, professional, and communicative every step of the way. Any questions or concerns we had were addressed promptly, and the whole process went smoothly. The final result is a beautiful home that exceeds our expectations. If I could give Brad and Frontier Developments a 10+ rating I would. Dealing with Brad and Frontier Developments has been an absolute pleasure. How many builders deliver on budget and ahead of schedule (two weeks ahead of schedule to be exact)? We were in a situation of selling a home quicker than expected with a closing date earlier than what was desired. Our inquires with a number of local builders in Belleville offered a year end close at best. Brad reached out to us to offer a scenario that gave us a "country" lot with a custom home design that was both practical and gorgeous. Brad worked closely with my wife and I picking colours and building materials even at times meeting us at the local building supply locations to go through the selections one by one. The process was "watch making" precise with Brad. Any visit to site was welcomed and was often greeted with friendly trades. The experience from start to finish was exceptional and we are now living in the house of our dreams. We can't be thankful enough for how well this all came together. We have now been in our Frontier home for two and a half years, and love it just as much as day one. We came across and purchased the home when construction was almost completed, so we missed out on choosing finishes. Fortunately - the finishes that were chosen were fantastic for the space, and it was clear that the home was built with care and quality. Our only regret is that we didn't discover Frontier sooner, as we would have loved to build from the ground up with them!

Dealing with Brad throughout the purchase process was an absolute pleasure. He was (and continues to be) honest, responsive, and more than fair. His passion for the job is clear, and he truly cares about each and every home he builds. Any questions or concerns with respect to our home were answered and addressed very quickly.

When the initial landscaping was delayed, Brad spent an afternoon weed whacking the entire property himself, and even personally delivered extra grass seed and fertilizer when the initial seed didn't take. This was above and beyond.

When we inquired about finishing our basement a couple months ago, Frontier once again responded promptly, and provided a very fair price for the space.

I hired Brad to build a house in 2017 and he was nice and pleasant - until I handed him a check for $50,000 and that’s when everything went downhill. He became bossy, rude, argumentative, and confrontational for the remainder of the build (which he never finished - we both agreed I would take care of the final grading so I wouldn’t have to deal with his bad attitude).

He threatened me three times to take my money and walk away from the build for the pettiest of reasons such as one time I said I wasn’t happy with the downstairs bedroom location. He hung up on me mid-sentence on the phone and I had to get our law firm to intervene to make him finish the build. If I questioned anything about my money or my home I hired Brad to build his response would often be that if I didn’t like it he would walk away. It was incredibly stressful.

I showed up at the construction site one day as the excavator had a full bucket of expensive stones left over. Brad had instructed him to “bury it”. There were hundreds of dollars worth of stone there and the money should have been returned or the stones should have at least been saved for landscaping. He was burying my money.

Twice during the build he promised to help me fill out the HST rebate forms and included it in his estimates to make the price look lower than it actually was - but when it came time to apply for it I asked him multiple times to help me and he refused. I even held back 10% of his pay through my law firm for a couple weeks and he still refused to help with the rebate papers. Since it was verbally promised twice and not part of the contract the law firm couldn’t make him do it. I have a disability and struggle with paperwork. It would have taken him 5 minutes to fill out the forms for me but he wouldn’t, for no reason other than cruelty or laziness, I’m not sure which.

Brad lied, he’s rude, he didn’t care about my money, he didn’t seem to understand he was working for me, he’s difficult to communicate with and spent hours arguing through multiple emails rather than fix problems. I do not recommend this company.

My dealings were with Brad from frontier homes. There is just so much that is positive about Brad. At the top of my list is communication. I always knew what was going on. He had great products to recommend. Quotes were accurate and professionally communicated. The workmanship was excellent and completed in very good time. The whole experience was stress free. We were selling a rental condo and his team made it shine. It sold in 5 days. I will use him again and have no hesitation recommending him.

Brad built a custom home for my husband and I in 2021. From the moment we met him he was extremely professional and kind. He was with us throughout the build to answer questions and regularly sent us pictures of the build on days we were not there. Brad is a hands on builder, you deal with him during the build not a dozen other employees. He is honest and stands by his work. If you get the chance to have a home built by Brad you will be very impressed! He is not your average builder! There is a reason he was voted #1 builder of the year!

Brad is very professional and provided a detailed and clear to understand quotation/scope of the work. Brad kept us informed throughout the process along with everyone else that we worked and communicated with have been very pleasant and total professionals.

If we had any issues or concerns Brad was always there to put our minds at ease and come up with a good solution.

During the rebuild the yard was kept neat and tidy as well on possession the cleaning team did an amazing job !!!!
