Miranda, Josh, Candace, Cliff and Maureen are all fantastic at their jobs and there whenever you need something.

Would highly recommend this building, I am honestly shocked at some of the bad reviews although things could have changed since those concerns were brought up.

The management team is always striving to make your living experience better.

Highpoint Barrie, is a great to rent if you value a friendly, clean and secure home whether you live alone, with friends or with family. The hard-working management group lead by Miranda and Josh is professional, approachable and empathetic to the needs of the residents while balancing the maintenance of the building's interior & exterior to a high standard. I am happy to call it my home!

My aunt, her son (my cousin) and myself applied here and I believe as soon as they found out we are on odsp they didn't even consider us! They didn't check our credit rating or call our references (previous landlords)! We are great people, clean and quiet and always pay our rent and bills, but got stereo typed by Miranda. Shame on you! Disgusting people like you should not be allowed to do this!!!

Miranda is outstanding and both women apart of the management team have been lovely. The building is well looked after and is fairly priced for the location. They are continuing to make improvements for the better.

Dont live here unless you have too! head office is terrible and do not care about you but onsite management is good!
Lived there 2 years and multiple times the waters been shut off for repair after repair and the elevators
The police come all the time to deal with residents and theres lots of homeless people in the area and sometimes sleep in the front door way just stuff they dont tell you when you move in! Oh and i think theres some kind of subsidized living there good luck!

I currently rent here, I emailed management within the 1st month of my renting as I found I was being targeted and or bullied by the assistant manager and her husband.. they came to my door 1 day both of them( im a single mom leaving an abusive situation) they knock ask me if I have cats .I said yes? They persisted to tell me how I threw my cat litter down the shoot and they knew it was me bc there was litter all down the hallway to my door? Yet I saw no trail? I persisted to tell them no I had not and I had been off that day and the previous day so I assure you it wasn't us? They persisted to basically call me a liar and tell me they can smell cat litter..yes u can
.as im just about to clean it actually . They both standing there frowning at me I felt belittled and bullied. Then a few days later I go down to do laundry..I have children 2 of which decided to come with me they have masks on of course .. they are quiet, its later in the evening after 9pm ..I do my laundry 1x a week due to work ..so I have about 3 washers 1 being a double..I load machines..I pay for everything, then she shows up the assistant manager and she says " you know hun your only allowed to use 2 machines at a time " so you will have to do 2 then load the other ..? I say oh ya? I'm sorry I haven't heard this before? She says ya its a rule its for everyone . Unless you come late at night you know? Ok I said ..and she walked away ..me thinking ok 9pm is fairly late
.and not a soul was down there?..I finish up and leave to the elevator..in the lobby bam shes there sitting in the office completely dark with the door open! Sees me and says .." ya hun ..im gonna let it go this time but next time its not ok" ..I just kept going ..how creepy is that? This is not ok! I emailed the company and spoke to the manager Miranda.. Miranda and Josh are a great team .. they are super sweet ..and always helpful !! They've always been super friendly and help jn any way they can ..Miranda is super understanding and supportive..shes definitely 1 of the best managers of buildings ive met in years shes willing to work with you!
Thanks Miranda and Josh if not for you I would have left after the 1st month!

Since I went to upper management and spoke with Miranda about my interactions, the assistant super has been overly friendly with me . She did apologize for making me feel uncomfortable

Lived there for 20+ years. I can't comment on how its run now as I'm no longer there and its run by someone new. But the building was in excellent condition, they were constantly making improvements and keep the grounds clean.
