We just used this company for our Reserve Fund Study for our condo corp in Collingwood. The whole experience has been well below expectations! John Juffs (who works there and who by the way has given the company a 5 star review himself!) is extremely rude and condescending. We had long paid our initial bill for the study however unlike other companies they charge extra for any other modifications to the study! They actually wrote to the board stating that they will not release the final report until the outstanding invoice of $200 is paid, this is the email we received:

“We have prepared the final with the instructions indicated below. But before we can issue you out the final RFS, there is an outstanding invoice. See attached. Once this is considered paid on our end we can issue out the Final.
Thanks,”

After emailing them and stating that the money has been paid and for them to not send us the report is inappropriate and insulting and they cannot take our final report as ransom, I get the following correspondence from John Juffs:

“It is unfortunate that you have let your volunteer stresses, and desire to take the summer off, generate this kind of unproductive communication. Words like “insulting”, “ransom”, and “unprofessional” are damaging to our relationship and inappropriate under these circumstances. We hope that you will govern yourself accordingly.”

Avoid using this company at all costs as the words respect, trust or customer service means nothing to them! They actually have the audacity to give us advise on self governance!!!

As you can see from the owners response they blame that their unprofessional conduct is because of no payment! The invoice for $220.35 was issued on April 29. The property management is the one that prepares the checks and then asks us to go to the office and sign!! The check was not ready for the board to sign until we received the notification from your company! It would have been a common courtesy to check with the property management regarding payment before blaming the board for non payment! After all the initial payment was received by you through them as well. Furthermore you are working with them with multiple other condo corps so one would hope you would know how things work and is operated in LHP!! Yet another sign of poor customer service.
What is uncalled for is the manner in which you treat and respond to your clients. Starting with how you defend your actions and blame that is our non payment that is the root of the problem, source of my frustration and the reason as to why you are so rude and unprofessional!! Wow!!!
