Steve has always been my GOTO guy. You know when people say "I got a guy"? Steve is my guy. He has ALWAYS had my back. Most recently, I was having my cabinets painted. I needed one shortened up to fit over my fridge before the painting commenced. He sprung into action, while he was on vacation on Mexico, I might add, and had his best carpenter shorten the cabinet and doors to be ready for painting.
I need to say, he also referred me to an amazing company to paint my kitchen cupboards.
I totally trust his recommendations. He knows his stuff.
From basement reno work needed over Christmas when my mom was having surgery to replacing a fence blown down from a storm, and many more instances, Steve has been there consistently. No hassle, no delays, on quote, and he delivers on time as promised.

From start to finish the experience with Craftwood was impeccable. Steve came by twice for measurements and to discuss the deck project. He then provided a detailed written quote including a drawing rendition via email (not text like some contractors). Steve and his crew then gave meticulous attention to detail throughout the build process from footings to gazebo. They didn't just build me a deck; they built a masterpiece. Thanks guys!

I had painted over a 1950's laminate countertop and backsplash. They had to be replaced plus get a new sink and faucet too. The horrible peel and stick tiles on the floor. I could say anything would be an improvement but Steve and the guys at Craftwood transformed my kitchen. I wasn't looking for a state-of-the-art culinary setup and we understood each other. Simple and timeless. I couldn't be happier.

Steve, Alex, Nick and Josh were the best all around renovation team I have had the pleasure of hiring. Steve was very organized and upfront about our projects and kept us well informed if there were delays of which there were few. The crew always explained things to us and when something that was found unexpectedly reassurance was given that there was a remedy …and not to worry they could take care of it . And there were a few unforeseen problems, which was always shown to us and an explanation of why it needed to be repaired . Everything done was to code and licensed subcontractors for electrical and plumbing were used.
I would not hesitate to recommend this company for any type of construction project , they are masterful.
The work is done , but we miss the boys.

I originally met Stephen when I was looking for someone to help build a gate at my house. He and his team were very professional and did a fantastic job in no time. When part of my fence blew over this winter, he was the first person I called. The quote was reasonable, and he was able to get the entire job finished in one day.
