Wow wow WOW!!! Under promised but OVER DELIVERED!!!

So very happy and satisfied with the work that was done on my car by the team at CarStar Orangeville! The repair to my bumper looks flawless and comes with a lifetime guarantee! Dakota was amazing to deal with at reception, so clear, knowledgeable, effective and lovely! We met Frank, the owner, at the beginning of the process and he’s terrific! Scott Sr. worked on my EV. I was happy to meet him because I know how tricky and dangerous it can be to work on my type of vehicle. They were able to get all of the extra components within a reasonable timeframe and once they all arrived, they got to work! I was so shocked and happy to see that they had also detailed my car before having me pick it up! My husband has used Orangeville CarStar for 3 of our cars over the years and this is why we trusted them with my car this time around. There is no other shop like this in Ontario that we will go to, even if we ever end up moving.

Just got my car back. Only had it for 6 months before i got side swiped. Picked it up 8 days later and looks like new again. Great customer service and very happy with the outcome. I recommend them highly. They were also cheaper than 3 other places i got quotes from. Hopefully don't have to go back but if i need work done I'm using them again. Thanks Carstar Orangeville.

I initially thought they did a good job of repairing my front bumper, only to realize they had painted hair in my bumper. They also installed my front license plate slightly crooked which is noticeable. They had my car for quite a long time which seemed odd for a minor accident. The owner does seem decent but the quality of work is not the best.

Dropped my vehicle off to have the front lip repainted. Overall was very pleased with the pricing I was quoted and the fact Franc could squeeze me in and promised to finish the vehicle by the time I needed it for. Upon dropping off the vehicle I took photos of the vehicle all around as I have had bad experiences in the past. Once it came to picking up the vehicle I met Franc and was handed over the keys. I went to go look at the quality of the front lip and was very pleased with how it came out. I live literally right down the street from this location no exaggeration and upon parking the vehicle on the driveway and looking over the vehicle not just the lip I noticed my front grille had now been missing paint on it. I double checked the photos I took and noticed that the damage had not been there prior. So I reached out to speak to someone who mentioned Franc was busy and would call me back before the day was over. Well I decided to email Franc as well and point out the damage to him by comparing the two photos before and after. I did not end up receiving a call back as promised nor a response to my email sent to him. I picked this place over other shops primarily due to the positive feedback of other reviews. I understand the difficulty of these kind of situations but the lack of not caring to call me back with a solution shows a lack of customer service.

Update - After not hearing back from anyone in regards to my email sent and voicemail left. I decided to call in again and finally this time got a hold of Franc. He had mentioned he would take care of the situation and look into a solution and to give him a day to work it out.. I was happy to see he was willing to help. After 2-3 days of no phone call back I decided to not rely on just getting a call back as the receptionist mentioned Franc was out but to visit instead this time. As I walked in Franc was in the office and so I spoke to him about the lack of follow up and receiving no call back. His response was I will not help someone who leaves a s***** review on my site to hurt my business. I am a frustrated customer I am allowed to express my frustration on the service received. I dropped my vehicle off to have one issue repaired not have another issue develop. A company who values feedback and it's reviews should look to resolve the customers experience and turn it around not deny the service. He then went on to say that the damage could have been there prior to me dropping my vehicle off and that the photos could have been taken at any time. Really! That sounds like such a typical response from a company looking to get out of wanting to complete a come back job. However initially when we spoke mentioned that yes just maybe his detailer could have damaged my grill further more then what was there before and was receptive to repairing it for me. I am beyond upset at the lack of professionalism of not following up and looking to resolve a solution in which he said he would and on top of that coming up with excuses as to the damage being there prior to the vehicle being dropped off but initially agreeing quite possibly something could have been done. A review should not change ones decision to fix a vehicle and turn the experience around for a customer. I hope for those who value feedback before choosing a service read this review before calling. I might have been an irate customer but only due to the level of service I received.
