We were very pleased to have worked with Lorrie Rand on our recent passive house build.From the moment we met Lorrie, we knew that she was the right fit for us. We were highly impressed by her willingness to meet us at the site, which allowed her to visualize how the landscape would play a role in the orientation of our new home. At the end of this meeting, we mentioned our interested in building a house that included passive principles and Lorrie’s eyes lit up. We could see and feel her passion for this type of design. This was our first time ever using an architect for a project. We came to this partnership with no experience and not much more than a shoe box of pictures and a few ideas. Lorrie was able to understand and decipher our vision, even when we weren’t fully sure what we wanted. She remained patient and considerate as we worked through the project. Lorrie’s expertise and attentive nature allowed us to create a dream home that is far beyond what we could have ever imagined.

Judy led us through the process and listened to our wants and needs to develop a functional and modern bright space for our family. She was respectful of our budget constraints and communicated the vision with optional plans and images that we worked through together.
