We had the pleasure of connecting with Rob this past week. We were on our maiden voyage in our new Promaster - van conversion with a brand new off-grid solar power system which we thought was well sized for our needs. A couple days into our travels, we ran into issues with error messages on the batteries and had the whole system shut down - no hot water for showers, no fridge freezer, no coffee! Being from Ontario we were in a jam. Rob juggled a few things and saw us as soon as he could. Although he was not overly familiar with our equipment vendor, it was clear that he has great expertise in solar power and electrical systems. He got on the phone with our provider in Ottawa and after a discussion, tried a few things and he was able to pin-point a couple issues which he addressed. He then took the time to ensure that the appliances were drawing reasonable loads, and that the alternator would also charge the batteries. Off we went - able to use everything and wishing we had a guy like Rob near us who we could work with. We told him we would be the first to sign up for any solar 101 training he might offer and he would be an excellent resource to hire for consulting on a solar project also. A real gem! We highly recommend Rob and can't say enough about his integrity, knowledge and innate desire to provide exemplary service to the people he works with. Great company and people. 5 star+

Rob installed a 5 kW PV system on my barn roof. I wanted the peace of mind of a higher quality inverter so I paid the extra money for a fancier one, the Cadillac of inverters. While the inverter itself has worked fine from day one, the logging capabilities I was interested in, and had paid for, did not work properly. The company claimed it was not their fault, they figured Rob must have done something wrong installing it; Rob was adamant this was not the case. I was worried, but Rob said he was committed to delivering the system I paid for. Over the next couple of months Rob, a red seal electrician, came out to my place (a 45 minute drive in both directions) at least a half a dozen times to try new tests on the inverter while on the phone with support technicians. He was often at my place 2 or 3 hours each visit - he came during the week and he also made special visits on the weekend. It was eventually determined that there was a fault with the inverter as it had come from the factory. I now have logging capabilities and it was at no additional cost. I think many installers would have washed their hands of this situation and walked away. I would definitely recommend Rob to anyone considering to have a renewable energy system installed.
