We recently hired Simple Yard for some landscape design services, and they absolutely exceeded our expectations. From start to finish, the entire process was simple, straightforward, and easy to understand — which was such a breath of fresh air compared to past experiences we’ve had with other landscaping companies.

They designed and built a beautiful retaining wall and garden bed for us, and the final result couldn’t have turned out better. You can tell they take real pride in their work, with excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout.

What really stood out to me was how professional and communicative the team was at every step. They made sure we understood the project, timelines, and pricing, and there were no surprises along the way — just great service and an even better final product.

If you’re looking for a landscape construction company you can actually trust to deliver on what they promise, I would 100% recommend Simple Yard. We couldn’t be happier and will definitely be using them again in the future!

We decided to try two services from Simple Yard this year - one was their "guardian" lawn service to see how it performed for a year, and the other was some grass cutting while we were in another country for a month.

The "guardian" lawn service has been okay, but nothing exceptional - if it can be gotten at a discount I think it's acceptable; but, otherwise, it is too expensive to really justify.

However, I very heavily recommend AVOIDING their lawn cutting service. They did an extremely careless job and damaged literally every tree on our property. Had I known that would happen, I would have just let the grass grow long and taken care of it when we got back. As it stands I now have to use pruning paint and do my best to try and heal the trees / protect them from pests and disease. Awful experience there, and enough for me to recommend not using their services - we certainly won't again.

1 extra star for doing an okay job with the Guardian service; but still, not recommended at all.

GREAT EXPERIENCE! We joined our neighbours here in Fireside in having a fence built between our properties. We solicited several estimates from companies in the area and settled on Simple Yard as our best option due to both economic reasons and the way they went about their business in estimating and communicating with us regarding what we wanted done. Sam and Kara treated us with respect, gave us regular updates on when the job would be done and completed their work in a timely fashion. And to top it off, it was well done. I would highly recommend Simple Yard to anyone looking to get fencing and landscaping done in the Cochrane area.

I had Simple Yard come to do aerating and power raking at my property and I thought they did a fantastic job. They we're able to accommodate a quick turnaround time from my initial phone call which was very much appreciated considering how busy they were during this time of year (spring). They did an excellent job and put all the excess grass in my compost bin. I would definitely recommend!

I desperately needed my lawn aerated. Booked online this morning with simple yard. Received an email at 9:25 saying they’d be by today. I finished the housework I was doing and came down to move the sprinkler and whatever else was around and it had already been done. Excellent service. Love the online booking option. Highly recommend!

We requested a quote that was to take "a few days" after July 20. We met with an employee, did a tour, provided a real property report, and had a very casual but pleasant experience discussing our needs. It is now August 13 and not even so much as a courtesy email to advise of interruptions. No quote. Nothing at all. If you have a time sensitive project, maybe look elsewhere. I am sure the work is fantastic, but I expect a bit of a message if delays occur... Not silence.

Samuel aerated my yard and the exterior of my fence line. Very efficient, professional, and friendly. I would highly recommend Simple Yard and have passed his business card to friends and colleagues.
